SERENATE

Chapter 14

THIRD PERSON POV

Serena was rushed to the hospital, her mom by her side. Gareth was crying while holding her firmly.

"Please save my daughter" she said to the doctor after they arrived the hospital.

Serena was put in a stretcher and rushed to the ER. Gareth was crying, she was alone and she didn't know what to do. She sat at the bench as she waited for the doctor.

"Gareth, I am here. I came as soon as I heard the news. I am so sorry" she smiled upon seeing Cathy. She hugged her, she really needed someone by her side.

"We will sue that painter, I already contacted the police. He is now in the police custody as we speak" Rodrigo Montero spoke. She smiled and said "Thank you so much for your help and support"

"Its nothing Gareth"

"And Nate? Where could he be? He was so furious, I hope he doesn't get hurt" Gareth spoke.

"My guards are after him, I hope he is okay too. He is not picking up his phone"

"Oh God, protect my son" Cathy prayed, Rodrigo hugged her.

On the other hand, Nate was driving with a very high speed beyond the restricted limit. He was so mad. He kept recalling the naked painting of his beloved Serena. He wondered why Serena did that, how she allowed her self to be painted naked.

"How could you do this Serena, howww" he shouted with so much rage and anger.

He was so confused that he didn't notice that there was a lorry crossing the path at the junction. He hadn't seen the red light, everything happened in a flush. He couldn't stop the car, he bumped into the lorry. His car got stuck in the lorry totally damaged.

People surrounded the accident scene, screaming for help. Nate was trapped inside the car. He was unconscious and blood covered his head, thanks to the airbag which did a good job to protect his head.

Some men came to help him, they managed to get him out of the car and called the ambulance. He was badly injured, everyone was terrified.

"It's Nate Montero" some said as they cried.

"Call the ambulance" the men shouted.

Suddenly the men who Rodrigo hired came to the scene, they were terrified on how to report it to the boss.

They waited as the ambulance came and took Nate to the same hospital that Serena was.

Back to the hospital the doctor who attended to Serena came out of the ER and they all ran to him.

"Doctor how is my daughter" Gareth asked worried.

"She is fine. But we are sorry she lost the baby" the doctor stated with apology.

They all had shock on their faces to hear that Serena was pregnant.

"OMG" Gareth said. She started crying. Catherine comforted her.

"Please let me see her" she pleaded and the doctor agreed.

They went to see Serena. Serena was unconscious laying on the hospital bed. Her mom went and kissed her forehead and sat beside her, crying.

"My beautiful child. I am so sorry" she cried. Cathy was in tears too but she needed to be strong for her friend. Rodrigo was watching them sadly, suddenly his phone beeped. He received the call and what he heard made him panic.

"What?" he panicked.

"Where is my son now?" he asked worriedly.

Cathy and Gareth were in shock as they saw Rodrigo panicking. Cathy went towards him and asked him "What is going on" she trembled. Deep inside her heart, she felt uneasy.
