-"Wait there, I will answer."

He looked up with his dark brown eyes with a concerned look in his eyes with his messy wet hair falling over almost all of his beautiful face, just his eyes shining through the hairstrings.

-"You sure?" He looked so worried over me.

-"Yeah." My voice slowly faded away as I hurried to the door.

-"Claudia?"

-"Hey Dol, sorry for not calling or anything. I was just nearby. The bridesmaids dresses came so you need to try it on to see if it fits and-" She walked into my living room and faced Alex sitting at my table.

-"Hello Claudia." He said awkwardly, the only words he could think of.

-"Oh hi Alex, You are finally home now? Great, so Dol can function again like a human." She said as she threw the pastel purple dress on the couch.

-"She hasn't been herself really when you have been away. She has been a mess to be honest."

-"Well, I'm home now."

-"Luckily. Okay, well I'm not gonna disturb you two lovebirds anymore. Alex, Liam will add you in a bachelor group chat by the way to keep you updated."

He had his mouth filled with cereals and so he smiled and gave a thumbs up and then looked down at his bowl.

-"Great, I'm gonna go home now. Make sure to try the dress on Dol. Don't forget it." She said with a serious tone and pointed at me.

-"I will. Bye Claudia."

-"Bye."

-"Sorry I didn't know she was coming over."

-"It's fine."

-"So do you know what idea I got?"

-"What?" He looked up from the table where his eyes were previously glued.

-"Maybe we can eat at this 50s diner tonight I found. Like in Grease. It would be like a date."

-"Sounds fun." He said, gluing his eyes back at the table.

-"Is something wrong baby?"

-"I get these guilty feelings because I was away."

-"Is it because of what Claudia said?"

He nodded shamefully, with a tint of red in his face.

-"Don't worry about it. She was just exaggerating and being overdramatic."

-"But some truth lies in that statement though, right?"

-"Yeah..." I didn't want to admit it, because that would break his heart.

-"We are going away again, remember? A few shows in America." I nodded.

-"Do you think you can come along to America? If you don't have too much work and-"

-"I have already looked up with work. I worked extra when you were away so I could have time off when you are home. I would love to come along to America."

-"Oh and before I completely forget I have a surprise for you, well for you and Miles."

-"What can it be?" He asked with a shined up face of excitement. I walked to my kitchen counter to grab it. I handed him an envelope that said To Alex & Miles in gold cursive. As I sat in his lap in the chair.

His eyes were switching between looking at me and then the envelope.

-"Just opened it." I smiled big, eager to see his reaction.
