{Quest}

Carmen's pov
After work hours you heard a ton of commotion outside. you went outside and in the gate of the village was a giant rat in which looked hungry.

he had been chasing down a little girl. you grabbed her and gave her to your boss who conveniently was standing right there.

"Hurry! get inside!"
you screamed pushing them in the door

you turned to face the rat sword in hand

the rat swung its paw grazing your hair on the top of your head. You ran to the top of its head pushing your sword into the neck. It howled in pain as you then twisted the sword in order to cause more damage. It fell to the ground gurgling for air. You took your sword out as more blood spoiled out. you huffed and huffed to catch your breath as you slit its throat completely, the head rolling off. As you heard the group of people in front of you cheering,whistling, and clapping you walked on top of the rat down to the tail, cutting it off and holding it high as you kept it as a trophy of victory.

you got off still holding the rat tail as you seen darwin and Alaki standing there in disbelief

"who's weak now Alaki?"
you said with an exhausting smirk

A lady then came up to you

"bless you my dear child! you saved my only grandchild! please take this as a token of my gratitude."
she said handing you what looked to be an ancient family heirloom

"this has been in my family for over 400 years."

you put the large green circle around your neck proudly saying thank you though you were cut off by a shine that fought your eye.

"that's the first time i've ever seen it glow like that." the old lady said gasping

you heard a low purr it didn't sound unfreindly and so you went to check right outside the gate

turning the corner you see a dragon in a blueish color as the amulets shimmer and glow grew stronger as it nuzzled to you

"hello child, my name is Alanis"

"i am here to guide you on your quest., just say my name and i shall appear"
you were amazed as it disappeared into thin air

you looked up to see alaki and darwin

"You've proven yourself worthy.."
Alaki whispered

"This is the one who will guid the party in which will save the village!"
Darwin yelled to all that were still there as he handed you 5,000 gold.

"thank you"

as you all went your separate ways you ran into isabella, the waitress at the tavern and or the drinking and eating hole. "Hey isabella."
you said with a smile

she was going on the quest with you, Darwin, and Alaki

isabella(she's 13)pov

i had lost everyone i had.. it's been so hard after my mom disappeared and my dad was killed aswell as my brother.. you were cut from your thoughts as you ran into Carmen.
"Hey isabella."

"hi, what's up?"
"how about we go get some food and camp out we can use the leanto to sleep under as well as the bed rolls."
"sure, i'll be in the woods."

Carmen pov

"Hey what's up Carmen?"
the tavern owner asked as he wiped down the counters

"can i get 2 fish bowls?"

he nodded and cocked up two bowles the size of your head and handed them to you with two large cups of booze
you handed him 20 gold for it and left

you soon made it to where isabella was while she had a fire going

you started setting up the leanto and the bed rolls just in time for the rain to set in

after you two ate isabella fell asleep while you sat up looking out the leanto

"hey.."
you heard a whisper who startled you
you drew your sword which had been attached to your hip just in case if you had to fight..
