"Scott!", Linda called for her husband as they prepared for church. "It'll be a moment. Linda, just take the kids and go. I'm not going to be ready in time.", Scott called back to his wife. "Alright. Love you, Scott. Don't be late! C'mon June, Tylom." Linda choralled the children out of the house and into their SUV. Scott fixed his tie and straightened his suit, as he prepared to leave. Scott rushed out of the house and into his truck. As he drove he heard a sharp bang, and a boom, followed by crackling noises. It seemed as if though it came from where his church was. Smokestacks curled beyond the trees. Scott stepped on the pedal and topped 100 miles all the way to the church. When he arrived, Scott nearly screamed. He saw the church in rubble, burning and smoking. He got out of his truck and ran toward it. He jumped into the splinters and fire and searched for his family. He ran toward the west wing, the only intact part of the church, cut and burning. He slung a panel of wood out of the way to gain access into the wing. He looked astonished to see his family he yelled and ran toward them, but the floor above collapsed and he was trapped under 400 pounds of wood. Scott could not move, and he watched as the rest of the building collapsed on top of his family. He cried and yelled before slipping into a comatose state.
