Jevon above~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Somewhere in the middle of the forsaken ocean, a place where only the forsaken sailed, a lone ship sat, bobbing up and down with the waves. If you looked closely enough, you might see the dogs that tramped around the deck, ugly and savage like the animals they were associated with.
But then, nobody ever got close enough to tell, and then relay the story.
It was still a nice analogy though.
"Oi, Captain!" A voice shouted, ringing out from the monkey's nest, as they called it on the dreaded Regora.
"What, Rayne?" The man shouted back, looking up and raising a brow, his eyes on the youth that leaned over the nest.
"There's a ship!" The boy shouted, making Jevon's mouth curve into a smirk. "Details." He requested.
"Eh..... Off the bow. It's anchored, sails up. Looks like a trading ship. But this far out of the guarded waters?" He questioned curiously, keeping his sharp eyes on the vessel.
Jevon shook his head, "Unlucky bastards...." And then he grinned at his crew. "Alright, prepare to raid! If they're still anchored, that means they don't see us. So use that." And he began walking towards the bow.
With the ship in sight, he stood at the front of the ship, every bit the proud captain of the most feared ship in the sea.
"You know boy..... I was almost going to let you live......" Said the merchant that held a sword to the helpless boys neck, eyeing him thoughtfully.
"Of course, then you tried to tell your mother about me." He clucked out, shaking his head. "I'm very disappointed Myziry..... Very disappointed indeed."
The youth, Myziry, only looked him straight in the eye and said, "You don't have to do this Viceroy. We can work it out." He shifted uncomfortably on his knees, hissing softly as he felt the blade nick his skin. "Please. Consider it..... I won't tell my mother. We can figure this out."
He pleaded for his life, looking up at the cruel merchant, also known as his stepfather, with his wide hues. "Please, Viceroy. You know that I'm beneficial to the company."
The man sighed and said gruffly, "You know, it's nothing personal...." Then he shrugged lightly, "It's not that I dislike you, per se. And your mother has even a pretty good wife. The money's good. But I can't have you telling her about my mistresses." His eyes glinted, "I still need that marriage for business investments."
Myziry's eyes darkened as he glared at the male, opening his mouth to say something. Just then, a shadow passed over their small trade vessel and both men looked up.
Viceroy froze, staring up at it with wide eyes. Then he grit his teeth, "PIRATES!" He yelled, alerting the rest of the crew.
Viceroy took one last look at the boy whose hands were tied behind him, then growled softly. Stalking towards him as the pirates watched, the man yanked the smaller male up be his hair.
Myziry inhaled sharply, his scalp screaming. Then, as his head tilted up, the boy caught sight of the leering pirates, connecting gazes with one. A man in leather pants, and no shirt, a full length leather coat open, showing his bare chest.
Then the ship hit theirs ad Viceroy lost his balance, bringing Myziry with him.
Over the side of the ship.
As the ship of pirates approached, Jevon stated at the trading ship, the smirk still on his face. He watched the two figures on the deck slowly get bigger and more detailed.
Then, he saw a youth, twenty years at the most. With a smirk, he waved his second over and said, "Don't kill that one." And the man, Amos, nodded.
Our gazes followed the pair around the deck, watching the obviously sea sick elder. A moment later, their ships collided and Jevon watched as the beauty toppled off of the vessel, followed by his elder.
And with that, Jevon dove into the swirling waves.
Myzirys Pov:
~~~~~~~~~~~
The cold surrounded me like an icy blanket, chilling me to the bone as I sunk, trying my hardest to swim upward. With my hands tied, it was difficult, and I sunk faster than I would propel myself up. After a solid minute, my lungs screaming, I had nothing left, the icy waters leaching the energy from my body.
My blurred vision slowly drifted shut as I kept sinking, no longer fighting. 'Who knew it would come to this?' I wondered, 'I never thought I'd die by drowning.' And he felt the grip of death around his chest, holding him tightly. The smaller boy could feel himself being pulled upward by it. 'Heaven?' He wondered, 'there's a surprise.' And then his consciousness subsided.

Jevon's POV:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I swam deep, the icy tendrils of the ocean caressing my body harshly. Then, I saw him, reveling briefly in his beauty as I swam deeper. Slowly, I wrapped an arm around his upper body, using my legs and free arm to swim above the surface of the water.
Moments later, I surfaced, holding the youths head above the waves. Upon hearing a victorious cheer, I looked up, smirking at my crew, who stood watching me from the deck of my precious ship.
A rope was thrown to me in the black water and I gripped it tightly, letting my men haul the both of us onto the vessel.
Depositing him onto the soaked deck, I grinned. Then watched as he didn't move. With a roll of my eyes, I slowly tilted his head back, then stepped backward as he violently coughed up sea water, turning on his side.
"Hey there, beautiful." I said, accompanied by a chorus of laughter from my crew.
Myziry:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'This must be hell.....' I thought, looking around as my vision cleared. 'There's no better explanation.'
I was surrounded by leering, vicious pirates who all looked like they wanted to kill me.
But then, why wouldn't they? They're pirates after all.
Scrambling backwards, I watched in horror as one of them laughed hauntingly, stepping forward. He carried with him an aura of power. He demanded fear.
And I gave him just that.

A few moments later, there was a sharp pain in the back of my head, and my vision went black.
