~Alastors POV~

If I'm being honest I've never been the biggest fan of the cleanse or extermination day, as some call it, of course nobody down here really likes it. I used to enjoy hearing the screams of others from outside while I was nice and safe in my home or wherever I had decided to camp for that day but now I have people to protect other than myself.

Dear Princess Charlotte decided it would be a good idea to give any demon who needed a place to stay during the extermination a room, the whole hotel has been booked out for weeks! I've been so busy working that I haven't had anytime to spend with my darling boyfriend, Angel Dust.

I suppose we have both been quite busy, I've been in charge of making sure the entire hotel is boarded up and that there is no chance of any break ins, not that those exorcist angels do it very often but it's not unheard of. It's extremely hard work, boarding up such a large building and wastes a lot of my energy, not that I'm weak or anything! But even overlords need a break sometimes.

"Finalllyyy~" I heard Angels familiar voice as he walked through the door, I was just getting ready to boarder that up and I'm glad I didn't. All four of his arms were holding bags of groceries "Charlie I got ya shit!" he yelled as the demon princess came running out of her office, Vagatha hot on her heels. "Thanks so much Angel! just put it in the kitchen" She was holding a clipboard and wrote something down with a pink gel pen before turning and saying something to Vaggie.

I was watching from the shadows so I don't believe anyone noticed me. Following my darling to the kitchen I snuck up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist. "HOLY SHI- Al! Jesus warn a guy next time!" Angel said, almost dropping the food he was unpacking. I just chuckled and gave a quick kiss on the cheek before slowly letting go of him and helping unpack.

"I see you've been busy" I remark noticing how tied Angel looked "yeah well, Charlie's been giving me a lotta' shit from when I went out drinkin' with Cherri and now I have ta' make it up to er' with chores" I couldn't help but laugh a little "So that means she hasn't found out about our little trip then hm~" I tease and throw him a few apples from across the room to put away, he didn't even look up and managed to catch them all in his four hands. 

"Nah, but if she did I would be in even bigga' trouble, she neva' gets mad at you though"  I just smile knowing the princess is too scared of me to ever think of disciplining me. "well then we'll make sure she doesn't find out" I replied and walk over to give him a quick kiss on the lips. (I can make a oneshot about the trip if anyone is interested)

"I'd best be off, got a bit of work to finish but I'll see you tonight mon ange" I said walking towards the door. "see ya Bambi" I just heard him reply before I left him to finish unpacking. Now it was back to work....great.

~The Next day~

I woke up extremely early to the all to familiar sound of the alarm, signalling that the extermination was about to begin. I quickly got out of bed, careful not to disturb Angel who was asleep next to me, and began getting ready for the long day ahead of me.
