Amanda and Troy layed next to each other breathlessly, their sweaty bodies calming down after their intense pleasure. But Amanda felt like she still didn't have Troy's attention, it was like he was deep in thought. When they have sex, he doesn't look her in the eye, he never does.
"Are you gay?" Amanda asked as she caught her breath.
Troy wanted to laugh at the question. Of course not, he was just feeling guilty... of something.
Something that he was going to have to tell Amanda soon.
He had cheated.
Flashbacks of the female Solider gripping onto his cock, just the way Amanda did a few moments ago kept coming back. He felt bad, disappointed in himself since he promised he would never cheat on his wife.
"No, I'm not gay." Troy replied.
Amanda understood that going through war is a very differcult and hard thing, but even when the are making love. He just refuses to look at her.
But Troy knows why, he doesn't want to look into the eyes of his wife knowing that another women, who was nothing compared to Amanda, was doing the same thing to him a few months ago.
He was desperate for a woman's touch. And his hand was definitely not doing it, nobody knew that he was married except for the men who he called his 'friends' but they were now buried in their coffins.
Cheating had never come across Amanda's mind about Troy. She trusted him with her whole life, and finding out these news were going to break her heart.
Troy sighed quietly as he stared up at the ceiling.
"I need to tell you something." And for the first time in a long way, he was nervous.
"What is it?" Amanda was eager to find out what he was talking about, she thought that maybe he was ready to open up about how he feels coming home, she was going to get one hell of a surprise.
Troy sat up and leaned his head against the headboard.
"I cheated on you."
Troy closed his eyes, he was ready for any hit or slap that he was going to get.
"When?" Amanda asked, her voice showed no anger. She sat up as well and started to put her clothes back on, her back facing him."A few months ago with one of the female soldiers." Troy admitted, he felt a weight lift off his shoulders but he feel nervous and disgusted with himself.
So stupid! Troy thought.
"Why?"
Troy didn't know how to answer that. Was it because he was missing her? He was missing the touch of his women who he hadn't seen in a whole year?
"I don't know." Troy looked at Amanda as he slipped on his clothes, "Okay." Amanda walked out of the room with no other word done.
Troy's eyes widened and his eyesbrows furrowed as he stared at the spot that Amanda was standing. He quickly followed her.
"Is that it? You're not going to shout at me?" Amanda continued to walk, not saying a word to him at all.
"Hey, listen to me." Troy grabbed onto her arm and pulled her back to him. Her body became tensed against his.
"I'm not angry at you." Amanda turned away from him but was forced back when two large hands made her face him.
Her words said she wasn't angry but if looks could kill, Troy would be dead.
Her eyes proved she was angry and mostly upset because her eyes were watery. She was forcing back the tears that wanted to fall.
"Amanda, stop that. You have to be angry at me. I want you to be angry with me. I cheated on you. Hit me, slap me, I don't care. Just fucking do something to hurt me back Amanda." Troy urged her, he went to touch her but she took a step back.
"Nothing can make you feel the pain that I am feeling right now." A tear slid down her cheek, but she quickly wiped away the salty tear.
"I am so sorry. I never wanted to hurt you. I was missing you so fucking much and she was just there.. and I-I, Amanda please don't look at me like that." Troy ran his hand through hos hair roughly, he wanted to pull it all out.
"Like what? Disappointed? Upset? Angry? Furious?" Many tears were falling down her cheeks now. "Heart broken?" Amanda whispered the word.
Her chest was hurting, and she felt it tightened up. It was painful, but she knew that was just a broken heart."I've done everything for you, I fed you, I loved you, I trusted you, I gave you my everything and this is how you repay me? By cheating?!" Amanda pushed him back, and continued to push him until he was up against the wall.
Troy didn't try and stop her as he knew he deserved it. He deserved any pain he was going to get.
"You don't know how much I regret it. I love yo-" Troy said quietly as he kept his head low but was cut off.
He felt his head being forced to the side by a hard slap.
"Don't you dare say that." She pointed her index finger at him. "Don't you dare." She warned him as her eyes became puffy and red from the crying.
"Get-" Amanda cut herself off once she realised what she was about to say.
He won't have anywhere to go. Amanda thought to herself.
"After all this and I still give a shit about you. You're sleeping on the couch tonight and for probably, forever."
Amanda knew they weren't going to divorce. She loved him too much and Troy loved her too much.
Troy could stab her and do the worst possible things to hurt Amanda but she would still come running back to him.
"Fuck off." Amanda looked away from Troy.
"Amanda I-"
"I said fuck off." Amanda wanted to push him away from her but he would stop her now.
Amanda hated it when he said her name in an argument, the way he says her name can have Amanda doing anything. She loved it and he knew that.
"I'm sorry." He said as he passed her slowly and walked downstairs.
Amanda was shocked to hear the front door slam shut, she wondered where he was going.
The house was quiet and Amanda released a loud scream of pain. Not physically, but emotional.
She dropped to her knees and cries as her head rested on the floor. She slammed her hands down on the ground in anger. "Why?!" Amanda screamed out as the tears returned.
What she didn't know was that Troy was listening to her screams and cries through the open window, and his heart broke into pieces as she cried.
