After an hour of studying she got a text from Ma Jiaqi

Jiaqi:
Are you free tomorrow?

Me:
Yes why?? Do you need help with something?

Jiaqi:
Oh no not like that.
If you are free then let's hang out

Me:
Sure let's do that! I don't have any
particular things to do tomorrow

Jiaqi:
Then I'll pick you up at 10

Me:
Okay 👍

After chatting with Jiaqi she studied for few more hours until someone knocked on the door.

"Come in" the door opened revealing her mom, she was holding a tray with her coffee on it, she usually drink coffee while studying late night as it helps her concentrate on the the studies

"Here's your coffee" she placed the cup of coffee on her table "are you doing well in your studies? If you need help, you can ask me I'll be downstairs" she nodded, "mom, Can I hangout with a friend tomorrow?" She asked "of course dear but you have to come back early" then her mom went out closing the door of her room

Drinking the coffee that her mom made for her, she went back to studying. After some hours of studying, she felt sleepy so she decide to sleep

The next day, she woke up kind of late. It was 8 in the morning. She brushed her teeth and went downstairs only to find a note stick on the table written

"Dear,
Your Dad and I will be home late so take care of yourself. I have made your breakfast, heat it up on the oven and have it and for the dinner I guess there's enough food in the fridge that you can cook. Sorry dear, I couldn't take proper care of you and also have fun with your friends.

She read the letter that her mom left for her and heat up the food that her mom cooked for her and eat it.

It was weekends and she didn't have anything planned to do except for hanging out with Jiaqi and there was still 1 and half hour left for their hang out so she decided to clean her room

After few minutes of cleaning her room, she found an album under the bed that she wished she had burn years ago

The albums had a lot of pictures of her with Chengxin that they took while they were dating. She never thought of breaking up with him and they were inseparable and were so in love with each other.

She didn't opened the album as she didn't want the memories to come back. She want them to fade away and start a new life

After she finished cleaning her room, she decided to get ready as it was only 30 min left for the clock to hit 10

She took a shower and applied a little makeup as she was not the type to wear makeup everyday instead she go for her natural look

After applying makeup she went to her closet to decided her outfit, few minutes of deciding her outfit she finally chose what to wear

She wore a V-neck shirt, an oversized sweater , ripped jeans paired with a white sneakers. As she was tying her shoelaces the doorbell rang.

(I know nothing about fashion 😭)

She ran down to opened the door, there stood Jiaqi with a smile on his face
