Happy mutation day

Leo's POV

"Daddy daddy get up daddy." I heard Katie calling for me trying to get me up
"What is it sweetie?" I mumbled
"Uncle Raphie, uncle Donnie and uncle Mikey want you for something they called mutation day daddy." Katie said
"Mutation day is today!" I shouted suddenly waking up. I guess I had been taking care of Katie so much I guess I forgot that it was mutation day. "Um I guess but what's mutation day daddy?" Katie asked
"Mutation day is the day me, your uncles and grandad turned into giant turtles and rat in your granddad's case. Its like a birthday so I'm 21 today." I explained "Oh wait what's a birthday?" Katie asked
"Its the day people or turtles get a year older so when its your birthday you'll be 1 years old." I answered "well let's go then." I said throwing the bed covers of me picking Katie up. I walked into the kitchen where Raph, Donnie, Mikey and Splinter were. "Look who finally decided to show his face for mutation day." Raph laughed
"Happy mutation day guys." I smiled putting Katie down next to me
"Why were you in there for so long bro?" Mikey asked
"I was explaining what mutation day is to Katie." I told them
"Oh well your here now so lets get on with the celebration." Donnie boomed. I sat down on a chair and Katie looked up at me so I picked her up and sat her on my lab. She wasn't tall enough to see above the table so I put her on the table next to me. "Sensi can you tell us the story of how we mutated and became a family please?" Mikey begged
"Of course my son I do it every year and I think Katie would like to know why we are different." Sensi said looking at Katie. Then Katie squeezed my hand or thinger should I say since her hands were so small and mine were so big. "It all started one normal day I had just brought 4 baby turtles." Master Splinter started to tell the story
"Oh and by the way Katie in case you didn't figure it out Katie those turtles were us." Mikey interrupted
"Yes they were Michelangelo. Now don't interupt!" Splinter Shouted. I'm guessing Katie got scared because she squeezed my thinger even tighter "Don't worry its okay." I whispered into her ear
"As I was saying. I was walking back home when I saw a strange man with a mysterious object in his hand. I decided to follow him into an alleyway where there were more men planing something. They saw me and tried to destroy me but..."
"Master Splinter kicked their buts." Mikey shouted
"Michelangelo!" Sensi boomed
"Sorry sensi." Mikey apologised
"As Michelangelo said I kicked their buts. But the mysterious object spilt over me and the four baby turtles. It changed us. The turtles turned into giant turtles and I turned into a rat. I realised we would not be excepted in world above so I took the turtles down in the sewers where we could be kept a secret. I named and raised the turtles as my own sons." Sensi finished the story with "And that's how we became a family or started one anyway.". After sensi's story was finished we spent the whole day celebrating Katie was always near me. She was definitely processing the story sensi had told the whole day I didn't expect anything different she just heard of it suddenly and she wasn't even 1 yet. I suppose I'll be telling how she came into this family on her birthday oh well. HAPPY MUTATION DAY
