Hello, my name is Shayla and I'm writing this story purely because I feel like it. I often feel like in books the main character despite being loveable are not quite realistic. Nor are their romantic relationships. So I decided that I would write something where the main character acts like a real girl. I'm probably not going to be very consistent with the updates as I do work a lot however I will try my best. That is if anyone ever even sees this 💀

The main character is called Stella because I find the name pretty. She is a black British woman stemming from a Caribbean background, aged 22. There will obviously be other big characters but I haven't really fleshed them out yet. But Stella is the main character and this is very much her story. I think due to the fact that im really trying to make her seem like a real person she may at times be unlikeable depending on the type of person you are personally and that's okay.

The story will be set in London and therefore typical UK/London slang will be used in the story. I'm pretty sure most of the ppl that see this will be American but if not I obviously won't need to explain the slang. However, I'm sure the meaning of the word will be easy to figure out based on context.

I think that's all I have to say. I don't have anything to say about myself bc tbh im not sure anyone will be interested in it. Im obviously not a writer and am doing this on a whim so don't expect it to be perfect, or expect the chapters to be lengthy and don't be mean because I will take it personally! 😃
