Sleeping soundly without a care in the world, Mielle gradually felt that something was weird. Falling in and out of sleep, the rays of light that beamed on his face slowly woke him up. He was the type of person that had trouble waking up in the morning, especially if the sun was bright as the heat only made him more tired and reluctant to leave his oasis aka bed. Stretching his body, he eventually forced himself to sit up and opened his eyes to look out the massive window on the ceiling.

'Hold on,' he thought, 'My room's window has a blind and is on the wall, not ceiling.'

Surveying his surroundings, nothing he saw was familiar to him, though this room definitely fit his tastes. If he could choose one of the seven deadly sins, he would definitely be sloth as he loved nothing more than sleeping and lying around. The room he was in was massive and as mentioned before, the ceiling had a large glass dome that let the natural light pour in, illuminating the rest of the room.

This room almost seemed like a room for a toddler, from the floor to the walls, the entire thing was covered in thick blanket-like padding that had been tufted. The primary colour of this room was a warm pastel yellow, with a few hints of blue and pink here and there. The furniture was kept to a minimum with a few platforms also covered in the padding here and there, kind of like those wall installations you see in cat cafes.

Though this wasn't Mielle's room, he felt quite safe and somewhat familiar with it, kind of like he designed it for a game... a game? This kind of room where you could essentially sleep anywhere was definitely a room he had designed in a game, but he just couldn't place it. It was on the tip of his tongue when all of a sudden it clicked- this was the game he had been playing for years and was quite attached to. The name of the game he couldn't remember, but pretty much everything else he did.

Most of the normal furnishings were on floating platforms around him. This room he designed revolved around one thing, convenience. Usually, when one came home from work late at night, they want to do nothing but sleep, but navigating to the bathroom to clean, then to the wardrobe to change, then finally heading to bed was quite inconvenient, so in his room, the bathroom, wardrobe, etc were all on floating platforms. The room itself was just a giant bed where he could just lay down anywhere and just pass out.

You might be thinking, 'How does one shower or get clothes?' or 'What was the point of the wall platforms?' Well, the amenities platforms could be called down whenever Mielle wanted and the wall platforms were for the other residents of this place that preferred higher sleeping places.

Mielle, recalling the fancy system he implemented into his room, finally stood up and using his memory, called down the tiny platform that had a cradle telephone that connected to every room in this place. Picking up the phone and dialling in the code for the reception, a man's voice answered on the other side.

"Master? Are you finally awake?"

The voice was one Mielle remembered quite well, as he was the one that created that person.

"Master, I don't quite know where we are, so I deployed all of the others to survey the area. Currently, only Cedar and I are here. Breakfast has been prepared in the restaurant and is still warm. I shall tell you more when you finish washing up." The man, as expected, was still like how Mielle made him. He was neither annoyed at the fact that Mielle woke up so late, nor sounding too caring like an overbearing parent.

"Alright, Milli, I'll be down in a jiffy."

"So let me get this straight. When I log out, you guys can feel that I have left and vice versa when I log in. So this week was Toloro's turn to clean my room and usually I'm not physically here since I logged out, but for some reason, she found my physical body here. No wonder it felt weird that my alarm didn't wake me up this morning."
