ಌ Mondstadt

Y/n was a young girl in Mondstadt, that happens to be close with a mother of a young knight. She would always find an opportunity to sneak out at night. And talk to Alice listening to her chats about what's outside Mondstadt. 

One night it was 10 pm, passed Y/N's bedtime her mother went to her bedroom to check if she was there. Her mother was very suspicious of what Y/N's doing, every morning she seems to be happy but she has noticed that her eyes are getting swollen for no actual reason, but her dear mother only knows that happens if you always stay up late. She had opened the door and saw her gone, she was furious and confused about where she might be?

Y/N on the other hand was talking to Alice on a nearby river, 

"Y/n, you know someday I won't be here to help you with excuses on why you're sneaking out just to hear my nonsense..?"

"HUH?! what do you mean nonsense? I've always wanted to travel on the outside world and explore! like you!"

"Besides! my mom doesn't know anything, even though she hates me going outside, I'll still find a way to learn how to travel"

"Y/n.."

"Yes? Ms. Alice?"

Alice sighs

"I'm leaving Mondstadt.."

"WHAT WHY?! don't you have to teach me to be like you once I grow older enough?"

"I would but if I had time... Being an adventurer is very busy, you have to travel anywhere and write it over your own book and publish it to show everyone what you had been exploring"

"If you're leaving Mondstadt I'm coming with you!"

"That's the thing you can't, I couldn't even bring my daughter with me so I left her here with the knights of Favonius, so she won't be in danger"

"She has a vision? I don't.."

"You'll have one someday, destiny hasn't found you yet that's why."

A few mins later you decided to say your last goodbye to your dear teacher well maybe second mother? Alice had been taking care of you both Klee and You for years.

You came back to your home and sneaked on your window, not until your mother was waiting in your room. You were scared and shocked on how you didn't notice that your mother was awake this whole time.

"Y/N, WHY HADN'T YOU BEEN TELLING ME THAT YOU'RE SNEAKING OUT WITH A RANDOM ADVENTURER EVERY SINGLE DAY?!"

You stood there in silence

"If I hadn't known you were doing this you could've lost the privilege to see things"

"M-mom, I ju-"

"save your excuse later, I told you not to go outside for once, haven't you seen how tragic the world is? your father died because of a war."

"..."

After the lecture, you've gotten through your mother had been looking out for you every day in case you run away. She didn't want what happened to her dear husband the same thing to you, you were her only happiness if she'd lose you, she'd be blaming herself for not protecting you like his loved one.

A month later after Alice had been away from Mondstadt, you have signed for the adventurer's guild. Your mother accepted but only told the guild to give you inside Mondstadt tasks. You are now a Teenager and all you do is the same thing same routine, Do commissions, Do chores, Help fellow commoners, It's all boring.

you sat at a table near Good hunter, Sara had noticed you were exhausted and walked over to you.

"Y/n, too much work am I right?"

"Yeah, now I understand being a part of the adventurers guild gets really tiring.."

"How about I give you a free meal tonight? its a gift for your hard work for Mondstadt"

"Thank you, Sara, your the best"

"No problem, Y/n"

Mins later the meal has arrived, you ate a lot which really says your hungry after all that work you did, You thanked Sara once again for giving you a free meal.

But then as you go to your last commission you bump beside a man who's also the same age as you, 

had blonde hair and green eyes.. oh god they were mesmerizing 

"A- sorry, are you ok ma'am?"

"I'm fine thank you, but are you ok as well? I think the bump might've hit too hard I'm sorry.."

"No no it's alright, I'm just in a hurry to deliver these papers"

"Deliver those papers to who exactly?"

"Oh.. a person named Y/N of the adventurers guild, they needed these papers to check who's the members of the guild"

".. Oh that's me! thanks, ill take this now"

"So your Y/n? well here you go that's your last commission right?"

"Ah.. yes it's my last commission of the day, why you ask?"

"O-oh nothing I was just thinking of bringing you to the nearest garden, I've heard how hardworking you are from the book introduction that Alice did, I just wanted to know if you'd have time someday to rest with the breeze.."

"Now that you say that, I never had rest at all but since after I check these papers, sure. I'll go"

"R-really?! thank you! ill meet you at 6? to see the sunset?"

"Alright, that's settled, see you later.. uhh..."

"It's Thoma"

"Ah yes see you later Thoma."

You both went back to what you guys are doing, 

A few hours later, while you were checking the papers, you forgot about the garden thing that Thoma said, it's supposed to be at 6 pm exact but your 5 mins late. 

oh goodness, I'm late ill just finish this faster and get there I don't want him to keep waiting..

After a while, you finally finished your work and got ready for the meet up with Thoma,

Thoma's pov

is she here yet? or she's busy at the moment.. ill just wait here...

while you are staring at the sunset you hear the footsteps of a familiar girl walking beside you

"did I come very late, Thoma?"

"N-no not really, you came just a few mins late but it's alright!"

"Ah I see.." she replies

You both are looking at how the sky with the sunset looks very beautiful, the breeze matches it so much you almost felt that this is heaven seeing how the perfect timing shows.

"Hey Y/n, I brought something from Liyue.. they say it restores memories"

"Is it a camera if so I've heard of it already,"

"You really know many things do you, Y/n?"

"I learned from a famous adventurer after all," she said with a proud smile

"Why don't we take a photo with this weather? it looks very pretty"

"Aha, sure"
