Not a long minutes or so, Sunoo finally arrived at the bus station which is just a few seconds walk from their house.

"You took so long. I've been waiting here for almost a decade, you know." I said, tapping the space beside me for Sunoo to take a sit.

"Stop over reacting. It's not like i'm late for more than an hour, i'm just 5 minutes late. Shut up." He answered, totally annoyed. I didn't get a chance to talk back because the bus arrived.

"What time does the university open?" Sunoo asked instead. We're entering senior high school at the same school.

I am a year younger but i skipped a grade that makes us to be in the same grade level. Undeniably, I am not the stupid one.

"8:30, we're not late nor too early. Let's hang out right after!"

After swiping our card, we immediately looked for a vacant space to sit on when I got to catch a glance on a guy— an attractive guy with hair highlights.

I got a little distracted and spaced out which became a reason for Sunoo to push him. And as unfortunate as I can be, i landed on someone i was eyeing a few seconds ago.

And like a potato, embarrassment rushed onto me— i became as red as it. "I- i'm really sorry— um.." I quickly stand straight up and glared at my best friend who's confidently and satisfied sitting.

"Hey, it's okay. I don't mind. Just be careful next time." The guy said with a reassuring smile— god why are you so good to me.

Yang Jungwon is malfunctioning.

Yang Jungwon is shutting down in 3, 2, 1...

I went back to my senses when Sunoo pulled me. "Hey bich, i know he's freaking handsome and attractive and all but please it's cringing me out."

I rolled my eyes at him, he's extra as always. Extra stupid than I am.

Right after reading Jake Hyung's message, he saw Sunoo taking a couple of picture of the guy. I was processing what he did when i saw him snickering.

"Yah! Sunoo-" I was about to snatch Sunoo's phone when THAT guy catched my attention.

"Excuse me, is this yours? I think you dropped this when you tripped earlier." He said and once again with that attractive smile— more like a smirk. The glasses added to his visuals.

My eyes landed on the familiar ear pods with a cactus case. I immediately but gently grabbed the thing and scanned it— seeing a 'yjw' at the back.

I nodded and look at him again. "Yes, this is mine. Thank you!" I said and smiled at him, genuinely and with my dimples unintentionally peaking.

"I am Jay, by the way. Park Jongseong but I prefer to be called Jay." He said and offer his hand— probably for a hand shake.

(p.s, they are riding a two seater bus each side and Jay is sitting right in front of Jungwon and Sunoo's seat.)

"I'm Jungwon. Yang Jungwon. Call me whatever you want." I never broke my smile but my smile became more genuine and wide. I shook my hands with him.

His hand is so huge and warm. It was kind of rough and soft at the same time. Long fingers and wide palms— longer and wider than mine.

Minutes had probably passed but i can't get my eyes away from him and so as Jay. His eyes are captivating. No caps.

"For how long are you going to stare at each other?"

Hi if ever someone is actually reading this! The flow of every chapter is depending on my mood everyday. I'm not a good writer as well. I'll do character introduction after publishing 5 chapters! 🤩 Please rate my chapter 1 that serves as prologue.
