''How was school today?'' her mommy asked as she got into the car. ''Well, first of all, those kids in my class are as rude as ever; secondly, I am bored to death at school and thirdly, am I really not allowed to change direction?'' replied Jane Newton. Jane thought school life was one of the stupidest things in the whole world. The only reason she went to school was to listen to all the love stories Alexa is making up about herself and the quarterback at the school she had a crush on, or more like an obsession. There was one other reason she wanted to go to school, but she hadn't told anyone yet. Jane wasn't really someone who liked to talk about herself, but rather listened to others and made up different storylines herself. Fantasy keeps her alive. If something is wrong or if something has happened to her, she makes up all kinds of stories and she will be fine. Because she looks a little different, she only has one best friend. She doesn't need any more. Some at school laughed at her because she had blond hair that was colored purple in the tips and she always wore black clothes. She didn't mind that much, but she thought about it often. She had chosen her hair herself and she couldn't really think about it any other way. Some at school laughed at her because she had blond hair that was colored purple in the tips and she always wore black clothes. She didn't mind that much, but she thought about it often. She had chosen her hair herself and she couldn't really think about it any other way. But her clothes did have meaning. Not that anyone had died that helped her, but her clothes were because of what she did in her spare time. At school she was mostly busy studying and listening to Alexa, but at home she was mostly busy with music and writing down all the things that had happened in her diary. Jane didn't really keep a diary, but she did write one thing down every day. The moments she saw Robin. The only other reason she still came to school is Robin. She hadn't told anyone yet, not even Alexa. Jane didn't dare say much about it. The only time she actually spoke or wrote about him was in her diary. She knew Robin had been for a while, but hadn't really addressed him or said anything to him yet. ''So not such a good day,'' someone suddenly interrupted her thoughts. She looked away from the window and said to her mother, "Yeah, but everyone was so hard today." She smiled at her mother and looked back out the window.

Today she had arranged with Alexa to call about their assignment for English. They had to propose a novel of their own choosing. Jane and Alexa had read the story of Romeo and Juliet again for the third time and had come to the conclusion that, again, they had to propose the same book and really had no topic to talk about. Jane had thought that "death" would be an interesting topic, but they had already discussed it. When Jane was six years old, her father died in a car accident. It had been a hard time for her and for her mother. All her father wanted for her is for her to follow her dreams, but Jane always felt like she couldn't. She wanted to make her father proud, making sure she's worth something without someone telling her what to do all the time. That's what her father would have wanted. Her father would have wanted her to be happy. Her mother stopped the car and looked at her. "Everything fine?" she asked Jane. Yeah, sure, Jane replied. 'But why?" "You look tired, that's all," said her mother and got out of the car. Jane followed her to the front door and walked in after her mother. She went straight to her room to put her book bag away and returned downstairs. ''Mom?'' she asked when she was downstairs. "Yes?" her mother replied. Can I go to Alexa tomorrow?'' asked Jane. "We have to make a speech for English and we are not that far yet." ''Yes, of course,'' said her mother with a smile. "What's so funny?" Jane asked as her mother glanced down to keep from laughing. "Nothing, nothing," said her mother. "Ah yes?" said Jane. ''Are you sure it will be about English tomorrow and not 'You know who'?'' her mother replied with a wink. ''Mom!'' said Jane quickly, turning her eyes. ''How many times do I have to say that there nothing is between me and Robin?!'' "Yes, yes," said her mother quickly with a smile. ''Ah yes,'' said Jane. ''I will continue with my homework. See you later." She turned and walked upstairs. She walked into her room, sat down at her desk, and started doing her homework. She took her Romeo and Juliet reading book, opened the book and found four gold envelopes. She took the envelopes and saw that each envelope had a name. There was one for her, one for Alexa, one for Sky and one for Robin. She took her envelope, opened it and began to read...

Dear Jane Newton

We learned that you could be a good team leader and have chosen you to lead the new team.

The team consists of four young people, including yourself, who have a little history behind them.

You should normally know the other three people.

Included with this letter are the three other envelopes for those people:

1) Alexa Harts was specially chosen for her knowledge of Science.

2) Robin Lowis was specially chosen for his knowledge of ICT and would come in handy to bring the team to the right place.

3) Sky????? was specifically chosen for his knowledge of sports and could prepare the team for tough tasks.

We've been watching you for several weeks and have come to the conclusion that you and your friends could become a tight-knit group and make a wonderful team.

The new team needs different talents who can ensure that a part of the world has become calmer.

We must warn you of the many dangers that can be there.

You will not enjoy doing everything equally, but we are always there for you if there is something wrong.

We would really appreciate you joining the team.

We expect you with the answer to this letter on 31/02 at 21:14 sharp at the smallest fountain in the park next to your school.

If the answer is yes, then come to that place and at the time described. Is your answer no; just stay home or don't come to the place.

Best regards and hope to see you then

Mr. S. Hale
