When Alexa Harts started in high school, her mother told her to do Sciences. Now she's in science class working on a project that was normally too difficult for her year. She was the only one in her year who could do all the assignments, but she was also the only one in her year who didn't want to do Sciences. Still, she finds science interesting, but her real dream was to dance in the Garnier in Paris. Her mother didn't want her to go to ballet school because she thought Alexa was too smart. After this year she went to another school. She was sure of that. She and Jane had already written out her plans to move to another school. The only two reasons she was still in school were probably Jane. They met at the beginning of their freshman year and have been each other's only girlfriend ever since. And of course the fact that otherwise she would have to leave behind the boy she was in love with. But she's not really into that now. "He doesn't even see me," she had said so much to Jane, but didn't really know if she believed that herself. He was pretty much the most famous boy in the whole school and all the girls except Jane fell in love with him. He was the famous blonde quarterback on the school's football team. Alexa was sure he's been with every girl in the school, but didn't really know if she believed it herself. Alexa was sure he's been with every girl in the school, besides herself and Jane of course. She had no idea if he'd ever even thought she could be a couple with him. When she lay in her bed at night she thought of him every time. The way he walked, the way he looked, how bright his eyes were, about Um, Alexa? someone suddenly asked and she returned to reality. Jane stood in front of her with a gold envelope in her hands. Alexa looked at her in surprise. "It's not from him if you want to know," Jane told her and handed the letter to Alexa. Read this as soon as possible, said Jane. Jane turned her around and walked back. Hey, wait a minute! Alexa yelled before Jane walked out. Do we meet again for that assignment from Engels? Yes, said Jane shortly and continued on. Alexa knew she shouldn't be calling after her again. She used to just let Jane go out when she was being so rude. It hadn't happened often, but now and then Alexa could turn Jane's neck. But sometimes Jane could also be so mysterious, like right now. She didn't blame Jane. They had always been two hands on one stomach. Sometimes she thought that all of Jane's strange stuff was because of Jane's dead father and Jane's mother, who was hardly ever home. She was glad Jane had always been there for her. That she could always listen to her when she was talking about Sky. Sky she thought aloud. She thought again of his blue eyes, his blond hair that was always in front of his eyes, the fact that she would never get together with him Suddenly a lot of noise was made in the hallway, causing her to return to reality. She quickly began to clear out her telescope and her labs. Alexa did not like to be disturbed during her practicals. The only one who could and would disturb her was Jane. But that didn't happen often, so she didn't really care. The noise in the hallway had turned into a conversation from which she could make out a word now and then. Like: Good training yesterday Yo vacation is coming Suddenly the conversations became clearer: Just go to her, said one of the boys. Alexa realized it was the football team just arriving for practice. You know she wouldn't want that," said a familiar voice. Alexa sat as quiet as a mouse Alexa realized it was the football team just arriving for practice. You know she wouldn't want that," said a familiar voice. Alexa sat as quiet as a mouse to listen to the conversation between Sky ????? and his friends went. Dude, you're the school's quarterback! Do you know that? asked another boy. Who would reject you now? the first boy asked. Well, who do you think? So she said Sky and Alexa heard the sadness in his voice. The two boys must not have heard because they both said at the same time: Ooh, our quarterback has a soft spot for a girl. Who would have thought?" They both laughed, but Sky said, "Maybe it could be louder." Alexa heard that Sky wasn't so happy anymore. The two boys immediately stopped laughing. Alexa could imagine what Sky must look like right now. She started cleaning up her labs again. She quickly wrote the solution on a piece of paper, put it in her bag and put her telescope back in its proper place. When she put the telescope down, the classroom door suddenly opened. She turned around and saw Sky standing in the doorway. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," he told her politely. His friends she'd heard five minutes earlier stood behind him. It was apparently difficult for them to hold back their laughter. Sky turned to the two and told them to stop. Sorry about those two They can be quite rude sometimes He looked at her with a slanted smile. Which made Alexa say "Not bad," a little too quickly. I'm used to Jane myself. Jane Newton. Yes, I know that one, yes said Sky. He took a step forward, then held himself back. ????? ?! Where is it now?! their coach suddenly shouted. "Sorry, I have to go," said Sky and left. Alexa was amazed. She walked out, closed the classroom, and ran as fast as she could to the parking lot. Her mother came to pick her up. Hey, she said shortly. She and her mother drove home in silence. When she got home she suddenly remembered something. Jane's letter! She went straight to her room, threw her book bag next to her desk and stretched out on her bed.

Dear Alexa Harts

You are one of the selected people expected in the new team.

You have been specially chosen because of your abilities in the field of Sciences.

We have been watching you for several weeks and have determined that you are the right person to join the team.

We've been looking for new talents for a while and are glad we finally found them.

The new team needs different talents who can ensure that a part of the world has become calmer.

We must warn you of the many dangers that can be there.

You will not enjoy doing everything equally, but we are always there for you if there is something wrong.

We would really appreciate you joining the team.

We expect you with the answer to this letter at 21:14 sharp at the smallest fountain in the park next to your school.

If your answer is yes, come to that place and at the time described. Is your answer no; just stay home or don't come to the place.

Best regards and hope to see you then

Mr. S. Hale
