Ch.1 Ep.1 Welcome To The Playground

Y/n's POV (12 years old):

     ALL I COULD SEE WAS ORANGE AND RED SMOKE, enforcers were attacking and looking for people all around me while I was just standing by a pillar trying to stay hidden. I was crying my eyes out trying to keep quiet so I wouldn't be caught and killed like my mother. Just moments ago my mother's brains were blown out of her skull by an enforcer.

     An enforcer had eventually found me because of my crying, they grabbed my arm harshly and got their weapon out, ready to kill me. However, I failed to notice a man walking towards me and the enforcer, holding two little girls in his arms. He walks up to us and kicks the enforcer down. He set the girls down and killed the enforcer. I flinch but he then motions for me to follow him as he picks the other two girls up, I'm petrified but go with him anyways, he had saved my life, and it was better than staying here. We walk down the bridge and leave Piltover behind us and go back home to the Lanes.

Y/n's POV (3 years later, 15 years old):

    
     There was grunting from above me from Powder, Claggor, Mylo, and Vi. We were currently climbing a building in Piltover to get to an apartment for a job that we took. "We're almost there," Vi says to the 4 of us below her. "Aw, man." Mylo complains.

"Stop complaining Mylo, this job is gonna make us rich." I say hoping for the best outcome.

    We reach the top of the building we were climbing after what felt like hours, but that's just because I'm impatient and I was at the back of the group.

"Hey powder come take a look." Vi calls as she gets up. Powder climbs up and walks towards Vi.

"Woah." She says in shock

"It's nice to get above it all huh?" Vi asks.

     Everyone finally makes it to the top of the building and a blimp of some sort flys above us, I flinch at the loud noises it was making but it was pretty. "One day I'm gonna ride in one of those things." Powder says hopefully. "And one day, I'm gonna shoot one of 'em down." Mylo says. I elbow his arm. Vi pushes past him and Claggor asks a question.

"Vi, are, are you sure about this? Look if we get caught-" Vi cuts his sentence off. "We're not gonna get caught, we'll be in and out before anyone notices."

"I don't know Vi I sort of have a bad feeling about this.." I say, anxiety filling my stomach.

"You and Claggor need to chill out, it's a job that's gonna pay good, really good." Mylo says irritatedly. I roll my eyes at him.

We reach the edge of the building we had climbed just a few minutes before, and I look down then look at Vi for some sort of comfort for my anxiety. She flashes me a reassuring smile then looks back down to the ground, "All right, everybody, follow me. Just don't look down." She tells us.

"To late..." I say looking down.

    Vi then slides down the side of the roof, lands on the gutter and swings onto someone's balcony railing. She turns around and jumps to a roof on the other side of the building. She then looks up at the rest of us and gives us a cocky smirk. Claggor starts to walk over but Mylo cracks his knuckles and walks over to the ledge, then he repeats what Vi did, only even more cockily. Claggor then follows right after only grabbing a cupcake from the balcony on his little trip.

"Couldn't we have at least just walked there?" Claggor asks after eating the cupcake.

"Gotta stay out of sight for this one." Vi responds then looks over to me and Powder, I motion for Powder to go first. "Called it. This is on you Vi." Mylo complains, I glare at him then look at powder. "I'll go get her." Claggor offers.
