Journal Entry - Day 1
Dear Diary,
Today was a great day. Katie and I spent the whole day preforming at our local coffee shop ! It was amazing. Katie sang her own solo, as did I. Katie sang Let Me Love You By Ne-Yo, and I sang Underneath Your Clothes by Shakira. We got a standing ovation. We did a duet and both sang Whos Laughing Now by Jessie J. Everyone loved it ! Next week, Katie is going to visit her step-dad in Florida and I am visiting my step-mum in England. It is going to be a crazy week but hopefully we will be back in time to audition for X-Factor AU. It has always been our dream to preform for thousands, even millions of people world-wide. We can't wait !

I close my laptop and get out my phone to call Katie. I hear the ringing noise about four times before she picks-up.
*ON THE PHONE*
Katie: hey girl ! what's up ?
Me: just packing and getting ready to go visit my step-mum. hbu ?
Katie: just packing to go visit my step-dad :/
Me: it sucks that our parents divorced and with our real parents not in our lives, it's crazy.
Katie: yeah, but we have each other and music and no one, and I mean NO ONE can ever take that away from us :) we're sisters. Forever and always.
Me: yeah we are. and that's pretty damn awesome :) well, hope you have fun at your step-dads.
Katie: I'll try. Hope you have fun at your step-mums house :)
Me: well I better go. Talk to you later love.
Katie: alright. bye girly :)
*END OF CONVORSATION*
I hang up my phone and connect it to my charger and continue packing.
