Her eyes burst into panic as she saw his eyes turn bloodthirsty.
She started to stammer, but he grasped her hand, twisting it hard.
He covered her mouth with his hand as her eyes stung with pain.
"I want to tear your oxygen pipe with my claws," he spat, "but I don't want to show my monstrous side to my beloved Avni."
Shagufta's eyes widened in fear as Neil's grip tightened. She knew she had crossed a line, and now she would face the consequences.
"You're going to regret the day you decided to mess with me and mine," he hissed, his voice low and menacing.
Her face turned white as his anger radiated from his pores.
His eyes glowed with a fierce intensity, Shagufta felt her soul tremble with fear.
His voice was low and husky, sending shivers down her spine.
"No scheme, no power, no earthly power can tear us apart. Not even Avni herself."
He released his grip on her hand, and Shagufta stumbled back, clutching her bruised hand.
His eyes never left hers, his gaze burning with madness.
"Get lost," he growled, his voice dripping with venom."Before I do what I said."
Shagufta didn't need to be told twice. She turned and fled, leaving him alone in the room.
As the door closed behind her, his eyes rolled back, and he slumped onto the sofa, his gaze drifting to the roses in the vase.
His eyes softened, and a gentle smile played on his lips.
"Avni, Avni, you are mine," he whispered, his voice full of longing. "Just mine."
With a swift motion, he plucked a rose from the vase and crushed it in his hand, turning it into dust.
The delicate petals disintegrated, symbolizing the fragility of anything that dared to come between him and Avni.
His eyes gleamed with a fierce intensity, his jaw clenched in a silent snarl. "I will sell my soul to the devil to keep you safe and most importantly mine."
His possessiveness hung like a challenge, daring anyone to try and take Avni from him.
The dust of the rose settled, a reminder of the destruction that would be wrought upon anyone who dared to cross his path.
In that moment, he was the embodiment of a man consumed by love and possessiveness, willing to do whatever it took to protect what was his.
He silently got up and composed himself. Walking out of the room. His footsteps halted when he heard her musical laughter.
He couldn't help but be captivated by the scene before him.
Avni was sitting at the table, feeding Shivik his breakfast, her face radiant with joy and encouragement.
She was cheering and clapping for him to finish his milk, her eyes shining with love and devotion.
As he stood there, lost in his daydream, Avni looked up and caught his eye.
She smiled, and Neil's heart skipped a beat. He felt like he was drowning in the depths of her eyes, like he was home.
For a moment, they just looked at each other, the only sound the clinking of Shivik's spoon against his bowl.
Then, Avni turned back to Shivik, and Neil quietly retreated, not wanting to disturb the moment.
But he couldn't shake off the feeling that had taken hold of him.
