“Will you seriously work on your gut and confess to Jay, instead of gawking at him like a creep?” Serim, Y/N’s best friend or better be called her only friend asked the millionth time for this month.
“No. I’m happy watching him from afar.” She answered while getting a book from her locker.
Serim sighed, as always, following Y/N to their first class. “So are you planning to spend the rest of your life, staring at him from afar?”
Y/n shook her head, chuckling and ‘bam’, there she went bumping into someone, whom she clearly didn’t see coming out of that room.
“I’m so sorry, I wasn't looking ahead.” She apologised while trying to regain her posture and thanks to the person saving her butt from getting cracked.
“It’s fine and I hope you are okay.” That voice sounded way too familiar to her and she immediately whipped her head up to see Jay. Right there in front of her, smiling and holding her arm.
She froze. Neither her body nor her mind could function properly and Serim knew this was her que to jump into action. “It’s okay Jay, she’s fine.”
The boy nodded his head and looked one last time at the frozen girl before walking off with Sunghoon.
“Are you going to stay frozen here for the rest of the day? He’s gone now.” Serim touched her arm, bringing her back to reality.
“What just happened now?” Y/N was still in shock, not wanting to believe that her crush, Jay saved her from falling and to top it all, he smiled towards her.
“Universe telling you to confess girl.”
“Easy for you to say who has already been in two relationships and who isn’t super awkward around people, unlike someone.” Y/N replied back, pointing towards herself.
