*Caspar's POV*

The look on Joe's face when I said I was in love made my stomach fill with guilt... Or was it hunger? It was no secret to me about how he felt. Joe may have thought he was hiding it but I just knew him too well. He was always so stoic, he loved playing it cool. Seeing him get riled up over me made it too obvious.

I grabbed a jacket and ran outside to meet Zoe. We needed to have a chat.

"Hey Caspar!" she called cheerfully.

I gave a halfhearted smile in return. My palms were swearing at the thought of having this conversation. With Joe's sister no less! Maybe he's right I am a moron.

"How's my favorite Sugg? " I asked as I caught up with her.

She laughed rolling her eyes. "We all know that isn't true! "

I nibbled on my lower lip losing confidence in what I was doing. Zoe's eyebrows arched in the overdramatic way she did when she was trying to lighten the mood.

"Caspar? Are you okay?"

I sighed heavily "I'm hungry. How about some lunch? Im thinking..." what was it Joe was on about? "Pizza."

Zoe nodded her head slowly, her eyes still narrowed suspiciously, "Okay."

Okay. Time to get this over with. We got in Zoe's car and drove to the closest sit down pizza place, chatting about YouTube and Nala and Alfie, staying far away from the subject of Joe.

We got in and were seated right away. My stomach growled. I hadn't actually been hungry when I suggested getting lunch but as soon as I smelled food my natural instincts to eat inhuman amounts kicked in.

"Hi I'm Leila and I'll be your server for today!" said a peppy brunette with big brown eyes.

She was very pretty with a great smile. Zoe smiled at her and ordered her usual. The moment Leila walked away Zoe turned to me straight face. She couldn't handle anticipation well and I was really building the tension.

"Ok, spill Caspar."

I swallowed hard I didn't know how to tell her this. I didn't want her to get caught in an awkward situation.

"I have a crush on... Someone we're both really close to."

"Oh. My. God... It's not.." Zoe gasped grabbing on to my arm but she was cut off by Leila reappearing.

"I'm sorry I don't mean to interrupt. Your food will be ready in a minute. In the mean time here's my number" she winked at me. My stomach did a somersault. This seemed like the worst timing...

"Thanks. " I smiled at her. Leila giggled and disappeared again.

I frowned at the number in my hand scrawled on a napkin, unsure of how I felt about it. I grasped it tightly, I'll toss it later so it won't hurt her feelings, I decided before glancing back up. Zoe was peering at me anxiously.

"What were you going to say? Don't leave me hanging, you know I can't handle it."

I took a second to reconsider telling Zoe about my feelings for... A certain "someone." I shook my head.

I pulled out my phone and saved Leila's number in it impulsively.

"It was nothing, I was just messing around. Honestly, I just wanted to see you without the others."
