chapter 23: time pt.1

Its been four hours since I learnt that these people are my real parents and I'm their lost daughter

When I was younger my mom took me to the woods to play when suddenly I went missing and who I thought was my dad kidnapped me

Since then they have been looking for me and that's where there names comes from the hoods

They say they mask their suspect with hoods as a sign for family I just thought they were racers but turns out everyone has secrets in their family

But there is still a few holes the more I lay here the more it doesnt make sense

I mean why now here and why is my dad I mean Steven not tied up instead of Axl

Isn't he the one who kidnapped me and kept me from them all these years its so confusing

As I was about to get up my door creeks open

Its Alex

"hey" he says walking in and sitting on the edge of the bed and playing with his finger like something is wrong

"hey what do you want" I said and he gives me a reassuring look which I will not be taking

"nothing I just wanted to let you know that Axl is fine" he says and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding

"why did you all do that to him" I said and he looks at me with glossy eyes "wait what's wrong" I said Reaching out to him

"you have to get out of here" he says and I furrow my eyebrows at his statement

"Why what's wrong" I said

"You have to trust me this family isn't what it seems like our mom is a monster" he says holding onto my arm

"what do you mean" I said and he looks at the door before getting up and looking outside Turing his head side to side like he's looking for someone

"I can't tell you here come on" he says and before I could answer he grabs my hand and pulls me off the bed

I groan following him down the corridor and into a random bedroom

This house is a fucking maze

He locks the door behind me and pushes me onto the terrace locking yet another door behind us

What the fuck is going on

"You weren't kidnapped" he says and I gave him the 'what the fuck' look

"I don't have time for this" I said and he pulls me closer to him

"The man who raised you only protected you he never kidnapped you" he says and I furrow my eyebrows "she tried to kill you" he says and I furrowed my eyebrows

"ok the night before mom walked into my room telling me that I will have my first kill tomorrow excited as I was my heart broke when she said it was you" he says and my eyes widened

"why would she do that" I asked

"because your a girl she never wanted you but dad didn't want adoption or abortion so she was stuck with you" he says and I have to admit that hurt a little

"Dad wanted you but mom didn't and she would've done anything to kill you" he says and I sigh

"what happened" I asked

"I couldn't kill you obviously you were my little sister so I paid one of the maids which was the man who raised you to take care of you" he says and I sighed

Now it all makes sense except one part

"why does she want me now and why continue the search for me when she didn't want me in the first place" I asked and he sighed

"because dad loves you he never stopped looking for you and he doesnt know about mom if he found out about her he would kill her" he said and I nod in understanding

"you need to get out of here before you die" he says and I nod

"Take me to Axl I can't leave without him" I said and he smiles

"You really love him don't you" he says and a stupid blush on my cheeks made him smile

"Come on" he says

Following him downstairs into what I think is the basement u see Axl tied to a chair with his hands behind his back and feet tied to the chair leg

I ran to him un tying him from those stupid things as Alex watched

I finished the last rope and I rose from my position wrapping my arms around Axl as he did the same to me

"I miss you mi Vida" he whispered in my ear

"I miss you too" I replied not letting go of him

"alright come on lovebirds we gotta go" Alex says and Axl let's go of me and pushes Alex in the face

Oh wait he doesnt know

I held onto Axl hands and gave him a reassuring look

"don't worry he's with me" I said and he nods before punching him again

"what was that for" Alex says

"that was for blowing up my girlfriend in a fucking car" he says and now I understand I forgot to punch him too for that

"are you not gonna say anything" Alex says looking at me and u shrug he kind of deserved it he could've just kidnapped me like a normal person

as we looked at each other we heard a gunshot downstairs which immediately caught all of our attention

Axl pushing me behind him and Alex leading back up the stairs with a gun in his hand we see

Oh no dad

Not my actual dad the one who raised me on the floor with blood flowing out of him

Without a second thought I pushed my way through the two idiots who standing front of me aside and ran to him

"dad I'm here" I said and harry my actual dad came rushing down the stairs also comforting him

Who the fuck did this
