Mel has a a way different childhood which means that her personally is very different from Abby's as well. So Mel's childhood was great besides the fact that her father left her mother when she was 8 years old. But other than that her life was great as a child. Her mother found an other lover so she had a step-dad. And the step-father was very supportive of Mel in whatever it was that Mel wanted to be or wanted to do, he also believed in her and treated her as if she's one of the best things he has gained.
And her mother was the same way very supportive of whatever that she wanted to do but, her mother also had a drinking problem but, she has improved after she married Jim. But she did have 1 problem which is her 2 other sisters.
The first one is named Maggie she has Long Brown hair, she is probably like 5'3 or 4 inches tall, Has brown eyes. And to be honest Mel loved Maggie but she hated how she would always try to bring her to a party because she doesn't really like to go to parties, and Maggie would non-stop begging her to go so basically Maggie is annoying to Mel a lot of times. And Maggie is also 14 years old.
Then you have her older sister Macy she has Long black hair, she is probably about 6'3 inches tall, has brown eyes. And the thing is that Mel was jealous of Macy because she is like Scientists smart. And also sometimes their parents will favorite Macy over Maggie and Mel, which causes some fights between those 2. And Macy is 19 years old which makes her the oldest sibling.
So basically she almost has the dream life and family she wish she wanted but the problems she has she can go and fix them.

Now it's 2018 and she has a great life she has her own house, she has a job as a 4th grade teacher ( In the same school as Abby) and she likes being a teacher because she gets to help the next generation figure out what they want to do when they grow up. And now she does go to a few parties now and then, but she mainly spends her time at home reading and grading the kids work.
