This is most definitely a filler chapter but I like it a lot just not how it's written
His parents woke him up with music while they got ready for their flight. It's not ideal when your head is spinning and your mouth feels like sandpaper. But it also meant they weren't pissed at him for the night before, so that's a plus.
Still, listening to their duet of 'Promiscuous' wasn't the best way to start the day.
"Can you guys turn down the volume?" He groaned.
"No, we won't." He sounded way too cheerful for it to be 8 in the morning. "We may have time to get breakfast downstairs before heading to the airport."
As much as Addison loved hotel breakfast, he also loved his room, and that was where he wanted to be at that moment. His parents weren't the best planners, by the time they finished up with breakfast the plane would have already taken off and they would spend another 3 hours at an airport.
Something that he didn't want to go through, "No, I think we should get food at the airport. It's..." He grabbed his phone from the nightstand. "...9:25.
We're supposed to check out in 5 minutes. Mom, what time is the flight?"

Sadly, he didn't get to read the rest because his phone died on him. That's what happens when you pass out and forget to charge it the night before.
Somehow, they got lucky and ended up all in the same section. It was a plus for Addison because he didn't have to sit next to some random old man, but not for his mom. She had to deal with him and his father's bickering the whole flight.
