Chapter 1: The boy

The sun was rising and so was the
world, people were running, texting, shouting, talking...And I was out on my fire escape a cup of coffee in my hand watching New York come alive. My name's Maya Coleman I'm 21 and alone. I moved in 2 days ago, tomorrow's my first day in NYFA (New York Film Academy) and I couldn't be more happy about it. But today I'm gonna get lost in this beautiful city that is New York.

I got dressed I was wearing blue jeans and a green hoodie. I took my camera and got out.I stayed out in Hell's kitchen quite a long time I was taking lots of pictures of buildings, people... Then I saw a cute book store who seemed quite nice so I decided to go in.

The bookstore was really nice there was a lot of different books it would go to Shakespeare to Collen Hoover. But one book caught my eye it was brown and had the title painted in golden like if it just came out of the 19th century. My eyes sparkled when I saw that it was Little Women one of my favorite books. As I was staring at the book happy of my discovery, I heard a voice in front of me:

?: Um.. hi excuse me... can I help you?

I didn't listen to what he was saying I was stunted by how magnificent he was. Brown hair, green eyes, deep voice... He was like a character who came out of a book. He was really charming. I decided then to regain my senses realizing that I was staring at him.

Me: I'm good I...um...I found this *showing the book*

?: "Be worthy love and love will come", I love this book! You are a girl with really good taste I see. Give me the book for a sec.

He started writing in it. It was weird but I just went along with it.

?: So don't open it till you get home. Wait I gotta go i don't want to get fired;) Bye see you next time!

Twenty minutes later I was home and couldn't wait to open the book. I sat on my sofa and read what he wrote: "Hi so you're cute and I didn't know how to ask you on a date so well do you wanna go on a date at 5pm tomorrow? So in case you want to heres my number: 0690814567. Have a good reading! -Matthew"

He was so attractive...I think I'm starting to catch feeling...
