Aera's Pov

"Move it, slowpoke. If we move at this speed, we'll be back home when it's dark and I seriously don't want that." Hobi complains.

"I'm trying my best here. How far is it from here? I'm seriously tired." I whined.

At that, he suddenly stopped and looked up. I followed his gaze and it instantly brought a smile to my face.

I could see the silhouette of the palace which I only dreamt of going to someday.

We fasten our pace to reach there as quickly as possible. He wanted to deliver the order as quickly as possible and head back home and I wanted to explore it.

In about 20 minutes, we reached the palace gate and we both were extremely tired. I gulped down some water and handed the bottle to Hobi for him to take.

While catching our breaths, I glanced toward the huge metal gate with royal guards placed by its side having weapons in their hands, ready to attack and kill anyone disrupting the peace in the palace.

They were looking a bit scary but when Hobi approached them, to my surprise one of them smiled at him.

Maybe because Hobi and my dad come here almost every week. They all shook hands and suddenly all of them were looking at me.

I looked down, fidgeting with my fingers, not used to the attention they were giving me.

"Never seen this one before. She's gorgeous. Is she your girlfriend?" One of the guards asked Hobi that made me look up and widen my eyes.

"Are you crazy? Gorgeous my foot. And no she's my twin, dumbass." Hobi exclaimed.

I glared at him for his comment but suddenly the guard came towards me and put his hand out for me to shake.

"I'm Lee Sunwoo. It's my pleasure to meet you." He introduced while I quickly shook his hand while bowing a little.

"Can we cut to the chase now, I don't have all day and we have to get back too before it's dark. And you, keep it in your pants." He pointed Sunwoo out.

At the comment, his face became red like a tomato, and cleared his throat while I looked down trying to hide my amusement.

"I wasn't trying anything, you asshole. I'm just introducing myself. Now get going and take the goods inside. Guys help him with it." He commanded the guards.

By his tone, he seems like their leader but he's close enough with Hobi to be talking like this. I can ask him to let me in for a while but my train of thought was cut off by Hobi's voice.

I spaced out as I was watching the palace and its beauty in awe which made Hobi snap his fingers in front of me and repeat whatever he was saying.

"Yah, you stay here and wait for me. Don't you dare take a step inside. I think I should stay here with her today. Can you guys please do me a favor and take the goods inside?" He asked.

"Don't worry I'll make sure that she won't go anywhere. You go inside with the others and you had to talk about the wage too, right? So go inside, I'll be here." Sunwoo piped up.

Hobi continued looking between me and Sunwoo for a while after sighing.

"You better stay put while I go inside." He instructed me and then eyed Sunwoo.

"And you better not any get funny ideas or I'll just," he made a hand gesture stating 'I will snap your neck with my bare hands.'

He can be really scary when he's pissed and when it comes to me, this little ball of sunshine can blow up like a volcano and destroy everything.
