The Day started like any other- "Kakashi-sensei what are you doing?" "What do you mean Naruto?" The blonde looked at him like he was crazy. "Why do you sound like a narrator?" "What no I don't!?" "Hm" "See even Teme agrees with me!" "Their right Sensei plus they hardly ever agree on anything so-" "Sakura!" "What's that's the truth! You started talking like Naruto while staring out into space!" "I did not!" Naruto tried to jump on Kakashi as the man tried not to fall over from the sudden attempt. "Naruto you can't climb on me, I'm not a tree." Kakashi lets out a sigh as he tries to walk with Naruto hanging off his arm. "You're tall like a tree." "And?,what does that have to do with anything?" Kakashi states. "Naruto quit it" "Fine Sakura, Hmnp" Naruto jumped off, almost landing on his face. The group continued on through the forest, the trees getting thicker, the sun started to set in the distance.

"All right then let's set up camp here" Kakashi watched as his little genin started to set up camp. Deciding that it would be best to get a fire started, Kakashi went off to gather wood. "Naruto, don't! It doesn't go there idiot!" Sakura says annoyed. "What do you meannnn?" Naruto questions tent in hand. "I mean that it goes over there!" Sakura says. "Teme what do you say?!" Naruto asks. "Dobe she's right." Sasuke deadpans. "See, tell you!" Sakura cheers. "Ugh" Naruto pouts. "Hey guys where did Kakashi-sensei go!" Sakura questions a bit after. "I saw him wander over to the forest." Naruto says. "Why didn't you mention that then?" Sakura demands. "Because I thought you saw him Sakura?" "Tsk, Whatever he'll be back, he probably went to go get wood." Sasuke says."Yea Naruto Sasuke's right let's just finish the camp site." "Fine.." Naruto pouts.

Kakashi walked through the forest eyeing the trees as he gathered chakra in his hand, using his lightning blade he slashed down some wood. Gathering it into his arms he turns around to go back to his genin when he notices a wire laying on the ground. "What's this doing out here?' He mumbles to himself. Looking around the area and seeing nothing tied to it he decides to just step over it as a precaution as he starts to make his way to the campsite. Eye's follow him as he retreats back to his team.

After starting up a fire and figuring out how many rations they can have tonight team 7 starts getting ready for bed. Sasuke ended up having the first watch. The night passes on slowly Sasuke switches with Naruto for a second watch.

"Dattebayo, when will the sun riseeeee?" "It's taking forever." Naruto all but whined as he sat in a tree overlooking the makeshift campsite. His gaze shifted to the forest area just beyond where his teammates were sleeping. A dark gloom hung to the tree branches. Gathering chakra into his ears and nose, Naruto cast his scenes out to see if he could sense anyone's presence. Suddenly he felt the presence of chakra. Jumping down from his lookout spot he raced to his teammates.

Kakashi opened his eyes as he felt his whole body being shaked. Feeling his body go stiff in an instinct. Almost reaching for the kunai under his pillow instead, he decided to lift his head only to see Naruto. He quickly sat up and silently asked what had triggered the need to be woken."Kakashi-sensei there's foreign chakra in the forest and it's heading our way fast!" "Ok stay calm Naruto, go wake up Sasuke and Sakura, All start packing up everything."

Team 7 was all packed and awoken within 2 minutes. "Sensei what do we do now?" "Well we start again until we either get away or are forced to fight this guy." "Hopefully it's the first." Making their way through the trees Team 7 started on their way back to the path weaving through the tree's. Kakashi sent out his chakra to locate the enemy ninja. The Ninja was still behind them, seeming as though they stopped chasing them. That can't be right though?.. Deciding not to risk it. Kakashi and his team start again on the way to the Land of Lightning. Never looking back.

The Sun was rising in the distance, lighting up the world with its golden rays. Team 7 had made it about halfway there since they started walking early that same morning. Naruto glanced back at his sensei asking a silent question like he had begun two hours ago. The pleading for food. Now Kakashi wasn't dumb nor was he new to this look at all. He had been given more than 100 looks like this from his pack. That didn't make it easier to ignore though. Sakura and Sasuke had also started sending him looks with Naruto. Unlike his Team Kakashi was used to not eating a lot of food from his ANBU and S-rank mission days. You had to get used to rationing or you would run out of food. But he supposed that they could stop and have lunch. After all, his genin isn't used to having to go days without food..

Team 7 stopped to rest and eat lunch, Sakura demanded that he eat at least a sandwich before they continued. Kakshi found this amusing but complied. With the sun high in the sky Team 7 made their way to the village. They met their client and were given the scroll as well as allowed to stay for 2 nights to rest up and get more supplies.

"Kakashi-sensei?" "Yes Sakura?" "What's in the scroll?" Sakura asks hesitantly. "From my understanding it's an important message to the Hokage. What the message is though, I have no idea. Our mission was just to make sure that it got to Lady Tsunade." Kakashi answers. "Oh that makes sense.." Sakura says as she thinks this over.

Kakashi was reading his favorite book much to his students' horror as they were walking from shop to shop buying a few things before they headed on their way back to the Leaf. Kakashi eyes the genin in front of him as he watches them look at supplies and other things. Suddenly though he whipped around, the book shoved away into his vest and a kunai in hand. A Ninja star was thrown his way only for him to block it. "Formation Alpha!" Naruto, Sauske, and Sakura all stood in front of each other covering each other's backs. Kakashi jumped back to join his students. 4 other ninja's jumped out. "Damn it"

Team 7 was surrounded on all sides. They kept moving in closer and closer. They were trapped. Someone threw a smoke bomb and it covered the whole group. Kakashi grabbed onto his genin and body flickered away to a dark alleyway. "That was too close.." Kakashi felt his shoulders slump as he leaned against the wall. Naruto and Sasuke stood closer to Sakura. "Kakashi-sensei are you okay?" "Maa I'm fine guys don't worry, I just didn't think I'd need to plan an escape route." "Sensei, are we going to leave now?" "Honestly Naruto, that's probably best." "Yea dobe we don't need to be attacked again." "I'm not a dobe teme!." "You're acting like a dode." "Guys stop it!, we have to get going before something worse happens." "Sakura's right, do we have everything?" "Yea we packed everything earlier, Sensei you were there with us?.." "Kami I must have forgotten?." Kakshi rubs the back of his neck. His mind on other things.

Team 7 was walking down a dirt trail, the sun sinking into the horizon. "Hold on a minute guys, I have an idea." "What is Kakashi-sensei?" "Summoning jutsu.!" A cloud of smoke appears revealing a tiny pug. "What is it Boss?" "Pakkun can you take this scroll to lady Tsunade?" "On it!" Pakkun then vanished. "Why did you do that?" Sasuke asked. "I have a bad feeling.."

The team decided to make camp a little while later. Sasuke was sent to find wood, while Sakura and Naruto set out the sleeping bags. Kakashi grabbed a backpack and brought it over near where the fire would soon be going. Looking through it he figured that they would have enough rations to last till they got home. Kakashi got the fire going and went off to watch the first watch. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke sat around the fire warming up a little as the night was a cold one. Kakashi sat in a tree looking over at his genin. He heard a few leaves rustle but figured it was the wind as a breeze ruffled his spiky hair.

A dark figure sat in a tree close but not too close as he watched the copy nin. "Do we get him?.." Nods. The figure shot forward before Kakashi could react. He had his arms behind his back and a cloth in front of his covered face. Nighty Night~

The genin had gathered closer to the fire, something felt wrong to them... "Hey dobe?" "Hai Teme?" "Where did Kakashi go?" Silence filled the air as the genin looked at each other. "Well he said he was doing first watch?" Sakura said. "It's too quiet.." "You're right, maybe somethings wrong??" They all stand up and look around. Naruto caught a glimpse of something silver laying in a tree, but before he could tell the others all went dark...

The ground rushed up to meet the three as they all were knocked out. "That was easier than what we thought." "Yes Boss will be happy with our work here tonight don't you think?" "Yes Boss will be Pleased,"
