               Chapter Four: Falling in love

         The guy that had changed my life... my world... and I smiled. He smiled back and I knew... right then and there... that I loved him.

         I stared at him for a while then he bent over to my ear. "You’re different, I like that." He whispered and then the bell for school dismissal rang and he ran off. I just stood there. Shocked. And then Nikki came up to me. "Are you going to go get changed or are you just going to stand here dreaming about your emo prince?" She said with a little laugh at the end. My emo prince... I liked how that sounded.

         Once I got home the first thing I did was go call Vixion. I wasn't sure how I knew her number... I just seemed to. "Hello, this is Vixion... can I help you?" She said in a very low voice. "Vixion! Hey, it’s me Galaxy... I just wanted to talk to you about what you said to me at lunch." As I said that I heard a scream come from the background on Vixion’s end. "Vixion... w-what was that?" I said with a very scared tone. And then I heard a few more shrieks and then a bone crushing crunch. I couldn't help it, I screamed.

          "Oh sorry, my mom’s... umm... scared of mice and we just caught one in a trap..." She said with a little bit louder voice. "No... No your mom’s NOT scared of mice and you did NOT just catch one in a trap, there’s something different about you... about all of you, Midnight, Shadow, Tariq and even... Alorn." I said but I got quiet when I said Alorn. I heard a hiss come through the line and I jumped back. "THERES NOTHING DIFFRENT ABOUT US!!! IT’S YOU PEOPLE WHO ARE DIFFRENT!!!" She screamed at me and then I heard a click and the line went dead. She had hung up on me.

        I sighed. So much for finding out what she meant at lunch. But this just made me more curious about what goes on is that group. All I did till dinner was chat with Nikki on the computer. We had some kind of pasta with steak and corn. After dinner I heard a knock on my window in my room. This was weird because my room was on the third story. I opened my curtains to find Alorn sitting on the tree outside my window. I was so shocked I screamed. I saw him laugh. I opened the window and he smiled. "What are you doing here?" I whispered. "Well, I was in this part of town and I thought I'd stop by to see you." "Shhh! Not so loud, my parents will kill me and you if they find you!" I said and he giggled. He patted the part of the tree branch beside him. "Come sit and look at the sunset!" He held out his hand. I took it and I slowly and carefully climbed onto the branch beside him.

          "It’s... beautiful!" I said in awe. "Just like you." He said with a smile. I looked over at him... he was perfect. I moved a little closer and he bent forward. His lips touched mine and I knew that I was his... forever.
