His last memory was war, battlefield, his ulfberht, his pain, lots of blood. That war of his made rivers of blood flow for almost a year. There was his blood, enemies' blood. Angry, strong and weak blood. Lots of blood.

When he re-woke from the dead he was hungry, he found his prey, he attacked it, and was satisfied for some time. His wife was dead in his arms, killed by him. He didn't have time to notice the fact. Just like that. It was nothing personal then, it was just the reaction of a wild hungry beast to a fresh young body right after he was changed.

Yes, he was extremely angry, and hadn't realized what had happened by that time. As soon as his wife made him a vampire, he killed her.

His wife did die though somehow she stayed with him in his head. Maybe he became crazy from despair? Still, what kind of despair? He had many more women afterwards! But at least he had someone to talk to while being alone. Or was it made to attest his madness?

Yes, again and one more time he became the king he was always aiming to be when he was alive. He used to be a king before, and now he's become the king of the night: the king of the vampires. He fought more to establish his reign upon the others. He was already used to fighting to become the leading and governing authority. He did it again.

The new life occurred to be more lucky: this time he invaded the damned Islands, and survived. If one can say so about an undead man. Some time later he spread his power to the two American continents. In the future he went to most parts of Europe.

He's built his strong monsters' army to fight the human beings. First of all there was a lot of blood. Again. Sometimes even more than before. Sometimes more than needed.

Then he started noticing that there was a lot of innocent blood too. Then he ended up killing only the humans who were attacking the vampires. That became his new policy for some time.

Unfortunately, he had to accept the killings of his monsters sometimes when they were behaving in a wrong way. His command was like that: he wanted everyone to obey his rule.

When someone dared to disobey him or his orders, his soldiers would completely destroy and kill him or her. Everything was on schedule now, even the deaths. Disastrously there came his secret work. He was truly dealing with the undead people by himself after his soldiers have "supposedly" destroyed their guilty enemies. Only the creator of the vampire could kill him or her. Or there was one more chance: a human being could do so, too.

That information was kept the darkest secret ever, and no vampire of his knew it. Ah, maybe he had to work with that secret of his, and confess his own truths to one of his most devoted officers. Just maybe, but most likely not.

Later on he imagined that it'd be fancy to follow the green diet, and kill less of the innocent creatures. Finally they started drinking insects or other possible vermin. Everything was under his calm and peaceful - aka lazy - control.

Once upon a time his spy had told him about someone new in their kingdom. He was someone apart.

That one was behaving as a vampire from outside and wasn't following the king's rule. They have found his existence by a mere mistake but they're unable to dislocate him now.

That was his vampires' mistake.

'Hmm... What does the local prince do with the current issue? Why doesn't he work it out?' the king asked. He used to trust his servants, and for the most part his expectations corresponded with the needed result. Now there he's got an incident. The outcome that he wasn't awaiting for.
