“I like swear to god Alexis, we’re all gonna die or something!” My best friend Chelsea gushed.
Everyone was talking about the blizzard coming, then end of the world!… Give me a break, they just wanted a day off from school.
“ You don’t really believe that crap do you Chelsea? I mean c’mon, the end of the world? Really? It’s pathetic what some people believe.” I said as we walked to our last class of the day.
“Well you just wait, while your at home stuck with no food, I’ll be at home with all of Wal-Mart’s Pizza Rolls!” “Please tell me you didn’t buy all the Pizza Rolls at Wal-Mart!”
That would be just like her, I mean I love her, she‘s like a sister to me, but she can dumb blonde at times.
She flipped her blonde curly hair, signaling that a cute guy was upon us.
“ Hey Jason.” She said twirling her hair.
She was always better with guys than I was, I got all awkward, and never knew what to say. She was the pretty typical blonde, while I was just average, average brown hair, average brown eyes, average body. Just average, you get the picture.
“Hey Chelsea, Alexis.” I mumbled a hello back.
“Listen are you guys riding the bus home today, Cause my friend bailed on me, and I have no one to sit with.”
I highly doubted he had no one to sit with, I mean he’s a pretty good looking guy, I’m sure any girl would be willing to sit with him. Chelsea giggled….did I miss the joke here?
“ Of coarse you can sit with us, It may be a little squished but hey that’s okay!” Her crush was so obvious, I’d be surprised if he didn’t see it.
“ Uhh thanks Chelsea. Well see you guys after school. Bye Alexis.”
Jason said before walking down the opposite hallway.
“ He is so cute!” Chelsea squealed.
“ Chelsea calm down. You crush is so obvious! You don’t want to come off as needy.”
“I can’t help it!” She squealed again as we walked into the English room.
“Alexis look! Look! It’s snowing! I told you!” Chelsea yelled running towards the window.
“ That’s hardly the blizzard everyone’s talking about. It’s all flurries.”
“ But you just wait.” Chelsea said attempting a “serious” voice. She failed miserably.
I sighed. “ I’m not in the mood to wait decades.”
Chelsea groaned. “ You no fun!” I chuckled, she was such a little kid at times. I sat down at my desk, getting settled in. And she plumped right down next to me.
“ I think we’re having a sub today! I hope so, there is only so much Ms. Nash I can take in one week!” Chelsea said while laying her head on her desk. What happened to all her energy?
The bell rang and an elderly man walked in.
“I’m Mr. Smith, I’ll be your sub today. Ms. Nash’s only instructions are to study for the English test tomorrow, and be quiet.”
He then proceeded to sit in her comfy chair, close his eyes, and begin snoring. I love this sub!
“Yes! We got the sleep sub! I love when he subs!”
Chelsea said, all energy back. Our friend Jeremy came over and sat on my desk.
“ So did you guys hear about the blizza-”
