Since they had a heavy lunch that afternoon, Jungkook decided to keep it light for their dinner that night. They had honey garlic shrimp with lime juice which Jungkook had been wanting to make for her. It was his mother's recipe that he learnt from her to charm Rosé's heart.
"Did you like it?", Jungkook asked as they brought the dirty plates and glasses to the sink. He was not able to ask what she think about the food earlier because she was too busy laughing and commenting about the variety show they were watching.
"Like? I love it.", Rosé gave a kiss on his cheek before realizing she left a food stain on him. "Sorry.", she quickly wiped it off with her hand.
"Chae, what if you go to the front? I've put a box under the coffee table. There's two pens and mini notes in there, you can start writing your questions first.", Jungkook told her as he began wiping the plate with the sponge.
Rosé looked at the direction of the living room before she hugged Jungkook from behind.
"Chae.."
"I'll wait for you. We go to the front together.", she said as she wrapped her arms tighter around him.
He let her be and they went to the living room together after he was done at the sink.
"Okay, let's write whatever questions we have for each other and then crumple the note in the box. We pick a question from there then, okay?", he told her as he showed the box and put it on the table.
Rosé smiled and raised her hand, "One question. I can write anything I want to ask you?"
Jungkook nodded, "Anything."
"Even if it's sensitive?"
He nodded again, "I'll answer anything as honest as possible."
Rosé said okay as she began writing her questions. She was smiling as she wrote more and more questions because she found Jungkook cute for his way of spending quality time with her. He might be scared to get intimate with her but she liked how nerdy and cute his plan of knowing her better. She was not into this 'icebreaker' activity at first but now that she was writing her questions, she knew it will be fun at some point. Plus, this method actually reduce their time to know each other more. She loved that brain of him, he is really genius actually.
"Do you want to go first?", he asked after they filled the box with the crumpled papers contained of various questions.
"Sure.", Rosé shook the box and pulled out one of the crumpled papers. "Let's see.", she opened the paper and gasped as if the question was shocking. "I think you wrote this.", she said.
"It's okay. We'll both answer it. What's the question?", Jungkook got eager to know.
"Do you have a pet or used to have a pet?", she read. "I used to...does a lab rat count because that's my pet back when I'm in Melbourne. I remember how I liked how cute it looked like, I even didn't let anyone to use him for experiments, you know.", she told him enthusiastically.
He laughed, "Lab rat? Did it have a name?"
"Rory, I named it Rory."
"Seriously?"
"Yes, I am."
Jungkook tried not to laugh too much but he felt funny to know Rosé had a lab rat as a pet.
"What about you? Do you have a pet?", Rosé asked him, wanting him to stop laughing at her.
He nodded, "I had stag beetle."
Rosé gave a dislike expression, "A beetle?"
"Yeah, my family owned a small farm at our hometown. I found it on the wooden fence so I brought it inside my house when it rained. But it died few months later because I didn't take care of it well.", he said with a pout.
