Chapter 4

You woke up to the scorching sunrays shining right into your face, making you squint your eyes even more. You stretched your arms and yawned as you hopped out of bed. Slowly you started remembering the events from yesterday, and you widened you eyes in excitement; you were going to be a tour guide for your crush, and hopefully you get to know him better too.

Hey sooo meet me at the gates before 8?

You quickly got ready and sprinted out of your house, munching on a piece of toast while furiously brushing your hair. You were nervous meeting him, most of the time you just gazed at you crushes from afar and it was something to distract you from the boring lectures you were forced to attend. Now that you were actually meeting one of them, your heartbeat was so loud you were sure the passers-by could hear it.

By the time your reached the school, it was 7:57. You saw Kazuha waiting for you at the school gates. He looked pretty, his eyes shining in the sunlight. When he caught you running towards him his eyes lit up slightly as he waved politely in your direction. You saw many students walking by and you noticed that they were making Kazuha a bit nervous, so you went up to him and shook his hand cheerfully.
"Hello!! My name is Y/N!" You stated happily. In the corner of your eye you could see your friends hiding behind some bushes, trying to act casual even with Ganyu falling asleep behind them and Hu Tao getting a bunch of leaves stuck in her hair.
"Hello, pleasure to make your aqquaintance, Y/N," Kazuha spoke quietly and incredibly politely.
"No need to be so formal! Ease up a bit," you grinned at him, and in return he gave you a small smile. To him you looked adorable.

Kazuha POV:
You looked...cute, when you smiled. Kazuha felt his cheeks heating up, but he assumed it was from the heat and didn't think anything of it. The way your e/c eyes shined so brightly, the way your h/c hair flowed so messily, sticking to your face in the heat, it was all—
"Come on, lets go! I'll lead you to our classes and such, and if you have any questions you can ask me!" Y/N spoke, interrupting Kazuha's train of thought. He mentally facepalmed himself for thinking such things. You probably didn't feel the same way anyways.

Y/N POV:
"So, where did you come from?" Y/N asked Kazuha. Although you already knew this information, you didn't want to seem creepy so you decided to see if all the information you have gathered was true.
"I'm from Inazuma, but I came here because I was doing terribly in my old school," Kazuha replied bluntly. It seems he has prepared for this question beforehand already.
"But you seem to be doing amazing in this school though? What was different in your old one?" This question of Y/N's was genuine, and Kazuha paused for a moment, not sure how much information to give to you.
"Long story short, a lot of drama happened in my old school and my grades dropped because of it," Kazuha mustered up an answer. Y/N assumed it was a sensitive topic so she decided to not push it for now.

Third POV:
At the end of the day, Kazuha considered Y/N a friend. He was happy he had someone to talk to now at least. He never dealt well in social situations.

Meanwhile Y/N was ecstatic that she was making progress, and that Kazuha seemed to have relaxed a bit more around her now.

During the day Y/N had dragged Kazuha along to all the different places in the school, describing everything in great detail. By the time the school day ended Kazuha swore he could walk around with his eyes closed. Y/N really was a great tour guide. Kazuha also thought she was very energetic, which contrasted his own calm and serene personality; he found it amusing how she decided to befriend him.

"Kazuha! You have to meet my other friends sometime," Y/N smiled at him. Her smile was always there, it made him feel... well, he didn't know how it made him feel, but it was certainly a good feeling.
"I would love to, Y/N," He smiled a genuine, caring smile which made Y/N's heart melt. She felt so happy.
"Can we meet tomorrow? Same place," Y/N questioned.
"Sure, I look forward to it."
