The bus stops at a bus stop, and Suyeon gets on, eventually meeting up with her classmate Hyunjin on the bus.

Hyunjin's face lights up upon seeing her, but Suyeon's expression seems different, darker... scared, as she boards the full bus, standing beside Hyunjin and grabbing onto the railing above them. Her face is frozen in a petrified expression and, eventually, Hyunjin notices.

"Hey, what's up?" he asks her, lightly but still with a hint of concern. "You look like you just saw a ghost?" He laughs, but it quickly fades away when he sees that Suyeon isn't joining him.

Then he frowns. "Hey, seriously. What's up?" he asks Suyeon, bumping into her side lightly as if to wake her up from a trance.

Then his eyes glow blue for a split-second at the same time he comes into contact with the girl.

Immediately, Hyunjin's eyes widen after he had blinked to return them to normal, and he looks towards Suyeon, realizing what could have happened.

Finally, however, it seems as if the girl just woke up from a trance as she groans and grasps her head. "Ugh... something crazy happened to me last night," she complains.

"Yeah, and...?" Hyunjin asks, pretending not to know. Not really spending much effort in showing his interest, though, as he really is curious. Not to mention, how he wants to know who it could have been that she met.

But Suyeon seems too exhausted to explain. Instead, she hangs her head low, seemingly wanting to rest it on the arm she's using to hold onto the railing. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Of course, I would! Now, come on, tell me!" Hyunjin encourages her, nudging her repeatedly with his elbow.

Suyeon resists for a few seconds, but she eventually gives in to her friend's stubborn pleading. "Ugh, fine! I'm telling you, you'd laugh at me for this." She finishes with a glare at the boy only to get wide, curious eyes in return. "Ugh, you're so stubborn."

. . .

Bae Suyeon and Hwang Hyunjin (the Messenger of Torture) are friends and classmates in college, taking the Visual Arts Course together.

They have been so since high school, but even after all that time, Suyeon never had a clue as to what Hyunjin's real identity could be.

Either Hyunjin was really good at hiding secrets, or Suyeon's just dumb.

Still, they managed to get through all those years with just this one thing that could possibly ruin their friendship. Hyunjin seems rather confident in it not being revealed, though.

... Yeah, maybe Suyeon really is just dumb.

. . .

"So, you know how we went out to karaoke last night?" Suyeon starts, and Hyunjin very intently listens. "So, I decided to go home earlier than the others, and since no one else wanted to go home yet, I went alone."

Immediately, Hyunjin exclaims in shock. "What?! You walked home alone?! Suyeon, are you forgetting that you're a girl?!" he asks her scoldingly.

Suyeon frowns in response. "Well, I was sure I could protect myself... or run if I couldn't," she says, pouting. "Anyway, I though you wanted to hear what happened–"

"Exactly! I do!" Hyunjin immediately changes his tone to keep Suyeon from stepping out of the story, and the girl rolls her eyes at him.
