I was sleeping without any trouble when I got awaken by a loud noise coming from the living room. I went to see what happen when I heard a familiar voice behind the door. It was Hailee coming to awake me.

Hailee: Morning sleeping beauty, did you slept well?

Me: Well until now I did...What time is it?

Hailee: 5 A.M

Me: Whaaaat???????!!!! Why are you here so early. Ugh don't worry I'm gonna take a shower. Make coffee for when I come back please.

I took shower and then got dressed. When I came back, the coffee was ready and I had fresh out of the oven cookies on the table.

Hailee: Hey so I made coffee and cookies and I clean a little.

Me: I was in there for like 20 minutes, how did you do all that? Thank you!

Hailee and I ate a little then we decided to go to the mall. It was a really really big mall and there were a lot of shops to go in. We started at Century 21 then we went to Barneys then we decided to eat something, we were starving. It was 4pm when we decided to start looking for something to wear at the ball. I already had heels so we searched the dress. We went at Bloomingdale's even though it's expensive it's worth it. We looked a long time but we found one. I tried it on but it was really tight and well I'm not really comfortable with my body. Unfortunately I started crying.

Hailee: Hey...You okay in there? Can I come in?

I saw the curtain open then close quickly. I felt arms hugging me from behind, I knew it was Hailee. I turned around and hugged her really tightly. Growing up my "friends" made fun of me a lot about my looks, they were telling me that I was either to thin either to fat, that I was too short, that I was ugly, that no one would want to be with me ever, that I was lucky to have them because if I didn't I would be alone. While we where hugging she started talking.

Hailee: Hey... what's wrong hun?

Me: It's complicated. I just don't have the confidence for tight things.

Hailee: Turn around, look at you in the mirror. Look I know we're friends since like 3 days but if you want my point of vue, you look astonishing in that dress, you have no reason to not be confident in it. Plus I think Matthew would not be mad to see you in that dress.

Me: Really?

Hailee: Yeah really I know the guy.

Me: What?

Hailee: Shit. Well I didn't want to tell you but I am a friend of his family we're not enemies. He's um actually my best friend, so I'll be at the party.

Me: Why didn't you tell me?

Hailee: Well believe me or not a lot of people were friends with me because of my money. I wanted to have a friend who likes me for me. Sorry I should of told you. Are you mad?

Me: No I'm not mad I understand. Well I'm gonna trust you and buy that dress.

Hailee: Okay I'll meet you at the checkout counter.

I got dressed then I joined Hailee at the checkout counter.

Hailee: Gimme the dress.

Me:What?

Hailee: Give me the dress I'm buying it.

Me: No no I'm buying it.

Hailee: Please let me make you a gift for your first preppy bal.

Me: It's 200$!!!

Hailee: I know.

She took the dress and paid for it, I felt like I owed her something so I invited her to eat at my place. It was 5p.m, I didn't have what I needed to make dinner so we went grocery shopping. We then went to my appartement. I was making mac and cheese while she was serving us red wine.
