INTOXICATED

CHAPTER 1 | Sister

Sighing for the 100th time, she sat on her bed after closing her luggage.
Putting her elbow on her thigh and face between her palms while thinking about the day she got the scholarship, she was on cloud nine but it also scared the shit out of her that she had to go so far away from home....and that happens to be another country.

Heck! She has never even been to another city alone and yet here she was going to Seoul,South Korea and being an introvert was definitely going to make it more difficult.

Being accepted in "Seoul National University" was always what she wanted but leaving two most important people behind and starting a new phase of life in a new country was breaking her heart. The thought of not being able to see them was so hurtful.

Slowing standing from bed, she put the luggage in the corner of her room.

Clock stuck 11 in the night.
Sitting in the room with no lights on, moonlight was shining at it's brightest through the window while the cold wind gently touched her skin causing her to shiver.
The thought of being away from her family was still lingering on her mind.

The sound of opening the door of her room caused her to lift head a little to see who has entered her room, seeing her elder sister standing at the door with a small smile caused her to break into tears.

"I don't want to go Di, I will miss you both so much" she managed to say between her sobs while her elder sister wrapped her arms around her figure and caressed her hair.

Shirin John, her elder sister and also her best friend. She could tell her anything no matter what it is. She has always been there for her, whether she needed help or an advice. She was also her mother figure.

"Hey don't cry. Shh Come on, come here" she said while lying down on the bed with her head on the headboard asking her to come closer so she could hug her.

She snuggled into her while she just patted her hair for her to calm down.

"Shh shh don't cry. I'm here and also Isn't it your dream to study in SNU. Why are you crying then???" She gently asked her.

"It's not that I don't want to go. It's just that I won't be able to see you guys anytime soon and I am afraid." She whispered at the end.

"What are you afraid of??" She asked while still patting her head slowly

"That it's a new place and you know how nervous I become around people and I don't know if I can fit in" she tighten her hold a little around her sister.

She chuckled a little and answered "I don't believe that my little sister is afraid when you were the one that nearly punched a guy who mocked you for dreaming to study abroad and that too in SNU,Korea. You proved everyone wrong those who teased you for thinking of studying out of country.....You are the strongest girl I know and I also know that you are going to do absolutely fine on your own."

She whined while pouting "It was not my fault he was being mean to me."

She burst out laughing at her little sisters explanation "I know I know
Now come on go to sleep....you have a flight to catch tomorrow. And I'm gonna sleep with you today."

Lying while cuddling to her sister was one of the things she going to miss a lot.

She closed her eyes and felt her eyes getting heavy....she felt her sister kissed her forehead while she said "Good night sugar....I love you"

She smiled in her sleep and mumbled "Good Night Di....I love you too"

With that both of them drifted into dreamland.
