That shitty cook! There was no way in hell that-that bastard was able to get his hands on his Capitan. First of all, HE was the right-hand man of the Capitan, the stronger one of the two (Between Zoro and Sanji), and the first mate of Luffy's crew! And there that blond rascal was, hogging all of the loveable Straw Hat's attention to himself.

Luffy was always hanging around Sanji. Sure, he was the cook, and food was Luffy's ultimate favorite, especially meat (Nothing could surpass meat, according to Luffy. And I quote, "Meat is the best thing ever! Nothing is better than Sanji's deliciously cooked meat!" Unquote), but despite that, -that doesn't mean he had the authority to just viciously grasp the Capitan and not understand that he's being selfish (Mind you, this is from Zoro's inner perspective of Sanji)!

Ever since that perverted crewmate joined, Zoro's reputation of being the Capitan's best friend went downhill.

This was just a few years back, when Zoro was out to get some food to restock the ship (surprisingly, he didn't get lost), and heard an all-too-familiar loud gasp, crying for help, suffocating from the salty waters of the sea. Zoro was always prepared for this moment.

He ran directly to where the sound was coming from, dropped all of the paid nutrients, but it wasn't him that dived into the water, saving the pirate Capitan. It assuredly wasn't a stranger, it wasn't beast, nor an animal.

It was that cocky cook. Zoro was quite stunned, he thought that the curly eyebrowed man would be the last person to attempt to save that Capitan.

Surely Zoro assumed Usopp or Nami would be the ones to save the water-allergic boy, but out of everyone, Sanji? Really? He was caught off guard. Though Zoro let it go, relieved that his Capitan was at least saved. He still had other chances to justify that he was worthy of being the adoring pirate's first-choice (In everything) out of all the unusual crewmates.

Sabaody Archipelago

"LUFFY!" The two men exclaimed as they spotted their troublesome Capitan from afar. He carried an enormous backpack, that looked tremendously heavy. Zoro, wanting to help, offered to take the bag to the ship for him, but as usual, that idiotic cook was in the way of everything he had planned to do for the rubber man!

Before Zoro could even utter a word to Luffy, Sanji made his way to support the weight of the bag for him. "Tch. Seriously, can't I just have at least a chance to spend time with Luffy?!" Zoro muttered to himself. He was yet again, irritated.

He really did want to punch that perv right in his face and kill that man, but then again, their crew still needed someone to cook delicious meals for them.

"Zoorooo! Sanji and I are heading for the Sunny-go! You coming?" Luffy smiled, walking side-by-side with Sanji holding the giant bag. Zoro sighed, he knew that of course there would be slim to no chance of him being able to have a genuine conversation with the Capitan, without that blond bastard interfering. "Yep. Coming." He said to Luffy with no hint of enthusiasm.
