Weirdly Beautiful

The moon illuminates the darkness

With a gentle light that dances.

Above all the world's sadness

Can someone take chances?

Cold wind chills the body

Of a strange little maiden.

A lost soul inside somebody

Can someone take away the burden?

She has a beauteous difference,

Look carefully in her eyes.

Humans took away her innocence,

Now she's melting even in the ice.

Broken melodies in her voice

So perfect yet so defected.

Slowly fading in the world's noise

Is there life when you feel dead?

She can feel the midnight breeze

Beyond her skin and bones.

She can feel her heart freeze

Like a pile of stones.

Is it strange that everything's different?

Perhaps she's not really a fool.

A mysterious maiden in a painful moment,

Someone who's  weirdly beautiful.

P.S. I've finally have the courage to label this one in Non-teen fiction.
