His name is Leon Drey he's 16 and a pirate her name is Leona Jade who's 16 is a marine
He has a sister named Leona which is his twin who is a marine they both hate each other
Their backstory is like a basic oc backstory I think
They're parents are strict, wanting both of them to do something good with their life and make the world know their name, their mother's name was Jade Jones and their fathers name was Felix Drey. Their mother was a house wife who tried her best to raise them both to the best of her ablilty while their father worked around their island and traveled trying to make them money so they could have a good life and came around four times a month to give them money which lead to him getting depressed because of his life and gave up completely because he was burned out and just plain tired so he went home and started drinking to relive stress
He would never hurt his family because they are the reason why he's still even alive now so he's not an abusive fuck
Jade ended up getting a job so they could still make money while her husband was burned out, she did whatever she could to make money which included selling her body
She felt horrible for doing this but it's one of the only things she could do to make money because of the poor choice of jobs for women on their island
While their parents were either working or drinking at some bar Leon and Leona were left to their own devices
Leona the older twin took care of her brother and herself because their father was off drinking when he was supposed to be watching them
During this time they were 13 so thankfully they knew how to take care of themself a bit
Leona was always the smarter of the two and more mature, she knew their family was breaking apart slowly but surely and she couldn't do a single thing about it
She blamed her brother and father for this. She thought because those two waste the little bit of precious money they get by drinking and buying useless not needed things they were destroying the whole family.
No matter how mature she was at her age she was still a child and she did childish things, she took her anger out on her brother unknowingly hurting the family more, she started to hit him, kick him, degrade him, and overall abuse him but that didn't mean he didn't fight back
Leon loves his sister to the moon and back and doesn't understand why she does what she does and doesn't want to hurt her but he still won't let her use him as a punching bag so he punches and kicks her back but not at his full strength because he does not want to seriously hurt her
They always fought when their parents weren't around to stop them
The village they lived in always made fun of their family because of how poor they were and how their mother sold her body for money and how their father was a dead beat
They didn't have enough money to move away either
Their father eventually died from alcohol poisoning and their mother broke down giving up just like their father when the twins were 16 and killed herself
She thought what she did was selfish but she did it anyway
Leona forgave her because she understood why she did it and it hurt her very soul that she couldn't help their mother or father
But Leon didn't, he didn't understand why their mother killed herself or why their father died because he wasn't as smart as his sister
He was angry at everything and everyone after these events and let out his rage on everyone but his sister, he could never hurt the only person he had left.
He fought gangs and weak pirates that came onto his island and killing them sometimes which earned himself a small 9 thousand bounty
His sister on the other hand kept her emotions to herself not wanting to hurt more people around her and she hated the way her brother acted, she thought he should help people instead of hurting them like what those evil pirates did to the people in her village, though she did appreciate the fact he fought criminals that came onto the island it still didn't change the fact he hurt some villagers as well
