T.W: mention of r*pe
--------------------------------------------------------------
She was twelve years old,
No more, no less
She wanted to be a doctor, a scientist.
A dancer, an artist.
She wanted to have the world,
To love everyone, so that everyone would love her.
She wasn't beautiful, but she was kind,
So kind she didn't wanted to reject and upset her "friend", and agreed to be his "girlfriend",  so kind, and foolishly naive, to agree to something she didn't want to agree to, to do things she didn't want to do.
Twelve years old the girl was when she lost the innocent sparkle in her eyes, twelve years old she was when she understood that not all people were kind hearted as her. Twelve years old was her age, and now she is fourteen, two years later, still hurting but slowly healing.
She hadn't told her parents, siblings or friends. She still sees him in the hallways of her school, She hides, tries to blend with the crowd. But deep down she asks herself ,"Who is to blame?" After all, she did agree, not willingly, no, but she still agreed, knowing the consequences.
She could have disagreed, she could have said a simple "No", but she didn't.
She understands that it's not her fault, he shouldn't have done that to her, but she still blames herself for things she had no control over, things she can't change, but wish she could.

Some scars heal, leaving a little to no evidence they even existed, but some leave a dent so deep, nothing could cover it.

People get a lot of scars in their lives, big, small, deep and plain. They get different scars at different ages, and that girl was twelve years old, when she got hers.
