Chuuya had just returned from a mission over seas, and had been informed of his partner's departure. Dazai had left the Port Mafia behind, Dazai had left Chuuya behind.

In the beginning, Chuuya had been exhausted after returning from such a draining mission and only to find out his "partner in crime" had left. He was by then, hurt but masked it with complete and utter annoyance.

It was a long journey to get back to his apartment. After leaving headquarters Chuuya had one thing and one thing only on his mind, to get home and open one of his most expensive wines. He wasn't sure of the choice just yet, but probably one that Dazai would hate to see him drinking.

He was too distracted by this thought to notice the sudden explosion of his car right in front of him. Honestly, he was quite lucky to be in a safe distance from the bomb that had been placed somewhere with his car.

He was in certain belief of who had done it. Chuuya's day had been terrible, and he really thought it couldn't get any worse, but dear god, he was certainly wrong.

He arrived home to his empty apartment, throwing his hat on the hatrack respectfully whilst yanking his coat off him and onto the rack to hang as well.

He made his way into the bathroom, to clean his face up a bit. He really wished this all had been a nightmare and he would wake up with The Sheep again, after all Dazai had dragged him into the Mafia only to leave it. This had been Dazai's doing.

Chuuya was after washing his face and looked at himself in the mirror, he felt his heart skip a beat when he locked eyes with someone in the mirror. Neither of them spoke a word until a certain red head lost his own patience.

"You have some nerve coming into my apartment knowing you shouldn't be here", was all Chuuya spoke, voice crispy but the other male could pick up on the sense of hurt.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't leave without saying goodbye to you, Chuuya", he felt his voice soften, and Chuuya just felt.. betrayed.

"How does it feel, Chuuya, a Port Mafia traitor in your apartment?" Oh, this bandage wasting machine was pushing it. "Dazai, what are you actually doing here?" Chuuya narrowed his eyes, trying to find any sincerity in the others hazel eyes.

Dazai gave a genuine smile, a GENUINE one, which Chuuya had only seen on the most rarest of occasions.

"Chuuya, catch", and with that Dazai threw chuuya a black and orange pendant, whilst Dazai held a black and blue pendant in between his own fingers.
Oh. So that's what he came for.

"Till we meet again, Chuuya".
"Till we meet again, Dazai".

And with that, Dazai was gone, and Chuuya had opened one of his most expensive wines he owned. Reminding you he didn't even need to go and look for the wine, it had been carefully left on the coffee table beside the leather couch Chuuya so long-fully adored.

He truly didn't know what Dazai was doing after all that, but he knew he had a plan. He knew it would take time too as for why Dazai had given him something.

Chuuya didn't know if Dazai gifted him this pendant to remind him he was Dazai's "dog for life" or if it was a token of trust. Chuuya took it as both meanings as they were both related to the chocolate brown haired male.

The only person Chuuya could trust even if it were to be another four years until their next meeting.
