A brown haired girl kicked open the door as she yelled the blonde girl's name.
"ELIIIIIII!"
"Karina, please, stop kicking my door and open it with the handle. You're going to make the screws come off the wood." Elizabeth replied.
"Mi madre is forcing me to go visit her side of the family in Colombia! Por favor! Go with me!" The girl pleaded in exaggeration.
"Of course I will go with you.
I didn't know you were half colombian."
"Si! Mi mami es colombian y mi papi es costa rican."
"Alright, Spanglish girl. When do we go? Let's pack up our luggage anyway."

The two girls arrived to Colombia as they walk through town.
"What a charming little town. What is it called?" Elizabeth asked her friend.
"I have no idea!"
Elizabeth grabbed a map as she analyzes it.
"According to this map, this charming town of yours is called Encanto."
"An encanto!? Ja ja! That's coincidentally the word you've been calling it!"
"Charming?" Elizabeth questioned.
"It's either that or a charm, glamour, spell, delight, or joy. A spell sounds fun!"
"Sounds like a fantasy, yes."
"But what if it's actually fantastic~?" Karina said with a smile as she leaned onto the blonde girl.
"We'll see what we'll have to see."
"Karina!" A motherly voice yelled in a happy tone.
"Mami!" Karina yelled in reply as she ran to her dear mother and forms a suffocating hug.
"Come, chicas. Tu padre y el resto de la familia are waiting for you."
The two girls followed the mother as they enter their home where members of the Martinez were.
"Hola Familia! This is mi mejor amiga, Isabel." Karina introduced Elizabeth to her family.
"Nice to meet you, dearests Martinezeses. My name is Elizabeth Morton and I'd be more comfortable if you called me by my name in english if that wouldn't be too much of a bother." Elizabeth introduced herself with english manners.
"(Ella es británica.)" Karina whispered loudly. Loud enough for Elizabeth to hear and understand. "Anyways! This is mi mami, Rosa! Mi papi, Alberto! Abuela Porcelana!-"
"Your grandmother's name is Porcelain?"
"Anything can be a name as long as the parents like it.
Abuelo Gabriel. Mi tio Tomas who is married to tia Natalia. And Tia Olivia who married to tio Manuel."
"Bienvenidos!" The family shouted welcomingly.
"It's so nice to know that mi niña has such a close friend that she can depend on!" Said Alberto as he shook Elizabeth's hand with a handful of energy.
"To think about the time she used to only talk with cats because the other kids avoided her." Said Rosa.
"I'm glad to be of company. It must have been pretty lonely without the cats now that she has grown up." Commented Elizabeth.
"Karina Martinez fears no loneliness! She only fears to not succeed finding her prince charming!" Karina replied.
Elizabeth notices a frail girl who almost seemed like she was hidding, standing by the grandmother.
"Who is she?" Elizabeth asked.
"Oh, her? That's just mi hermanita. Anyway. Now that I've introduced you to my family, let's explore town!"

Elizabeth looked at the girl again who seemed surprised and disappointed as she lowered her head to the floor.
"How about we ask your sister to guide us? Beside, it's been a while since you hadn't seen her, right? Let's go." Elizabeth suggested as she walked to Karina's sister.
"Whatever you're happy with." Karina said as she followed her.

The timid girl opens her mouth to tell her name. "I'm-"
"Oh, we call her airhead." Karina said.
"Airhead?" Elizabeth questioned.
"Yeah. Because she's got a cloud in her head."
"You mean she's got her head in the clouds." Elizabeth corrected.
"Anyway! Me and Elizabeth are going to explore town! She suggested you should come with us, let's go!" Karina said as she grabbed her sister's hand and headed out with Elizabeth.
