*AT SCHOOL*

ASHTRAYS POV

"Yo!"

I say, walking over to Jayden and putting my arm around her shoulder, she was talking to Maddy

"Hey, what's up?"

She answers, kissing me on the cheek

"Nothing much"

"Imma leave you two alone"

Maddy says smiling and walking away

"Ashtray"

Jayden says, running her finger gently down my face

"I have an idea"

She says

"Yeah?"

I say, looking at her lips

"We should get high"

She says happily.

"Really Jay? At school?"

I ask, kinda disappointed

"Yes! I got a couple joints off Rue and they are in my bag!"

She says excitedly

"Um, no your not doing that"

I say

"Uh, yes I am"

"No Jayden! Your not!"

I yell, not gonna lie. It made me angry that Jayden wanted to get high, because I was scared she was going to end up like Rue. And it would all be my fault, because I was the one who gave her drugs in the first place.

"Look ashtray, I'm going. You can come if you want"

Jayden says, starting to walk away

"No"

I say, Thinking that Jayden might decide not to

"Ok, bye"

She says, happily walking off. How the fuck can you be so angry at someone and also love them so much?

JAYDENS POV

"Heyyy"

I said to Cassie as I walked into the bathroom, she was re doing her make up in the mirror

"Oh, hey Jayden"

She says, turning around to face me. I sit down on the bench and open my bag, then take out a joint

"What the fuck Jayden?"

Cassie says, taking it out of my hand

"Does Nate know about this?"

She says

"Yo Cassie chill! Why are you so mad?"

I say confused

"Because! Your fucking 14! Your too young to be doing that shit! I'm telling Nate!"

She yells walking out of the bathroom

"Shit"

I whisper to myself, taking out the joints from my bag and shoving them into my socks

"Jayden!"

Nate yells walking into the bathroom with Cassie

"Why the fuck are y'all acting like this?"

I ask

"Because we fucking care about you Jayden!"

Nate says, pulling me in for a hug. I was so confused, cus like one second ago he looked like he was going to rip my head off. And now he's hugging me? But anyway, I just went with it

"Because your my little sister Jayden, and I live you and I don't wanna see you fuck up your life"

Nate says still hugging me, his voice shaking like he was about to cry

"I love you too Nate"

I say, starting to cry too. I missed my brother, we used to be best friends.
