Eden,
The time is coming, you know that. I want you to make up your mind on what side you are on, but I give a word of caution. The Dark Lord will rise, it's inevitable. Be vigilant of the friends you keep around, though I am very pleased with the ones you do. Your N.E.W.T's got owled here this morning. I am disappointed with your grades.
I would like you to know that I am very happy with your new relationship with Bellatrix's son. I approve of this greatly. While we are on the topic, I would like you to find a nice pureblood boy to wed. You are almost of age, and it is due.
The meaning of this letter is this; I must warn you, Eden. The Dark Lord will call on you in the next week or two. I want you to give him the whole truth, and be nothing but a quiet obeying young woman. I hope you realize that if you give him what he wants, then our family name will be forgiven and restored.
Hoping you are well,
Lucius Abraxas Malfoy

"Ron, I swear you can't pay attention for more than three seconds." Complained Hermione.
"Why on earth are you looking over at the Slytherin table?" She asked, waving her hand in front of his face.
"I don't want you to yell again, but we only have two weeks before we leave." She said carefully. Ron shrugged. He was too hungover to fight.
He did notice Eden looking more unhappy than usual. He hoped nothing had happened to her. He was feeling bold, so he went to get up, but was stopped by Lavender sitting down next to him.
She crossed her arms and 'discreetly' stuck out her cheek for him to kiss. He rolled his eyes before pecking her lazily on the cheek. Lavender thought this was the highlight of her life and wrapped her hands around his neck and squealed.
"Oh Won-Won, I can never stay mad at you!" She giggled. She gave Hermione and Harry a tight-lip smile. Harry gave her a nod and Hermione just looked away.
Ron looked over at Eden, who was looking at him. She addressed Lavender hanging off of him, and mocked her facial expression, then laughed silently.
Ron laughed too. "What's so funny?" Asked Harry. Ron shook his head and looked down for a second before looking back at Eden.
She wasn't looking at him anymore.

Fuming wasn't the right word. Wrathful, that was it.
Eden's eyes scanned the paper before crumpling it angrily.
"What've you got there?" Asked Pansy, walking over to her mirror.
"It's from my dad." She growled. Pansy widened her eyes before laughing.
"Calm down. Didn't get the peninsula you wanted?" She asked, looking up at her innocently. Eden smiled.
"No actually, I didn't. Excuse me while I go sleep with your ex boyfriend."
Eden walked out of the dorm fast enough so Pansy couldn't give an answer. She didn't want to see Castor right now, or ever again.
Instead, she walked up to the Astronomy Tower, sad and angry. Night was already falling, she had missed dinner.
She could see beyond the Forbidden Forest up here, it was all just English grasslands, but still beautiful. She willed herself not to cry, to have one peaceful night without crying. She didn't want to burden this gentle place with her tears.
