There is the inexplicable emptiness
That deepens with time
The pain of nothingness does not fade
But strengthens into permanent damage
Explanations of time heals all wounds
Although this is much more than a scar
It is a defining aspect of your being
That you are told that it does not define you
Losing your purpose inevitably creates an exterior presence
Never truly finding what first caused the cracks to form
The ever-growing void
