Driving at a snail's pace, Jade MacAvenue, yawned lightly and chastened herself for not paying full attention to the drive back to her apartment. She really needed to get home and soak in a hot, luxurious, lavender bubble bath. Nothing would delight her further than that overwhelming and hot feeling - immediately calming and soothing her senses.
After losing one of her patients to some internal bleeding problem, she really wanted to forget the fact that she was a medical doctor. Maybe, just maybe she could have done things differently. Maybe the teenager would have been in a different situation right at this morning.
She sighed heavily as she turned onto Jazz Street and her eyes widened so much so that she felt like her eyes would fall out of their sockets. Quickly putting her foot on the brake, she followed Newton's Inertia theory and nearly landed on her steering wheel.
There was an accident.
Not just any accident but a major, frightening accident that would be able to chill one to the bone.
A black Polo vehicle had over-turned into such a position that Jade was left in a flabbergasted state. Observing the whole scene, she noticed that a truck carrying toxic flids had probably crashed into the car, overturned and was currently positioned on its side.
"HELP! HELP! SOMEBODY!"
A shout rose up into the air. A woman's shout, a young woman.
"Somebody is in the car. HELP!" An observer called out.
Jade was automatically frozen in her seat as her eyes took in the horror.
The toxic fluid was oozing out of the truck's cracked tank.
Was it petrol? Diesel? Was it flammable?
Her brain raced across the capabilities and without noticing what she was doing she unhooked her safety belt and threw open her door. She had to help the person trapped under the car.
