"Do you think we can go see your mother and sibling soon?" I asked. I really miss them. They are the only people outside of my biological family that I ever truly felt at home with, at least until I went to Karasuno and found my team. Tsuki's family were the first ones that I came out to. You see I am trans and when I was still exploring my gender identity I asked if Tsuki's mom could start calling me a different name then the one given to me and she immediately asked if I wanted to try out different pronouns as well. I told her not quit yet but maybe at one point I want to try and find my name first. She had told me that that was fine and asked if it was okay if she used the name in front of my parents. I told her that she could but if they asked anything about it to tell them that it was a nickname for now at least. She agreed and later on after I found out that I wanted to go by Tadashi and that I wanted to use he/him/his pronouns she helped me come out to my parents and then she let me stay in her home while my parents contemplated life. Tsuki's sibling had always been really accepting, but I guess that is all you could asume considering that he was also trans, well he is under the umbrella he is a demi-boy but only uses he/him/his pronouns. He helped me do research on starting hormone blockers and then testosterone. He even helped me look into top surgery and he gave me my first chest binder. I owe him a lot for that.
"Of course we can go and see them. They would love to see you and considering Akataru and his significant other are at home with mom planning their wedding that will make it easier to make sure that everyone is there. When do you want to go see them?" Tsuki asked.
"Wait, he found a lover? Sense when?" I asked as I wiped a few more tears off my cheeks.
"His last year of college. He got with them after a party. That they had played truth or dare at. Their friends all knew that they liked one another at the time so they cooked that up."
"That sounds like something the team would do. Oh wait we did! We did that with Noya and Asahi as well as with Kageyama and Hinata!" I said thinking back to highschool. "I am so glad that I was far enough into my transition that none of them could tell that I am trans."
"You know they don't care if you are trans or not. I mean Enoshita is and always has been openly enby, and everyone loves them. Plus they made a really great captain in second year. I wish you could have been there." Tsuki said a sadness that had earlier left his face was now back.
"Well I am here now and I can't wait to make new crazy memories with you and everyone else on the team." I said, trying to lift his spirits. It seems to have worked.
"We should call up my mom." He said with a smile. "She is going to be so happy to hear your voice again. She has missed you so much. So have I." He said looking me directly in the eyes. God I hate, love, when he does that. It makes my heart melt and my mind sink in the honey in which is his eyes.
"Okay." I said really slowly. He broke eye contact with me and grabbed his phone out of his pocket and unlocked his phone. He then turned off his bluetooth. He went to his contacts and went to his favorites. "You still have my number saved?" I asked.
"Yeah I do. I don't think it is the same number you use now, but I did keep your old number."
"Well, do you want to update that number?" I asked.
"Yeah here." He clicked on the contact and pasted me his phone.
"You have hearts around my contact name?"
"Yeah I do." He said with no expression on his face, but I could see the red on his cheeks and ears. He was embarrassed. Cute.
"Cute." I mumbled. I put in my new number and handed him his phone back. "Alright, let's call your mom."
