Twilight had passed over the cold and condemning city of Moscow - there was nothing in the air except for the sharp, unforgiving wind that sliced its way through everything that it set its gaze upon without a second thought, and even the blazing fire had fallen to the enormity of it.

The low rumble of an engine could be heard in the distance as a black sedan pulled up near a historical monument, the hood of the car clearly damaged due to previous brawls; stains of blood and dents from where the fists had originally missed their marks.

A mysterious figure had emerged from the shadows close to where the sedan had come to a halt, the size of their trench coat indicating the vastness of this figure. The figure moved towards the car, whose doors opened revealing three men all of whom were armed excessively. They moved towards the rear of the car where both men aimed down their sights as another unlatched the trunk.

In a flash of a second a man broke free of his bonds and moved instinctively towards the nearest man with a glint of madness in his eyes but the armed man had reacted much quicker than expected and hit the madman with the end of his weapon, which made him crumple falling to his knees, for extra measure, another man landed a kick to his ribs, rolling him over his abdomen.

A Cheshire grin grew on the silhouette as it moved forward into the light, soon a face was visible, a rough face that was once kind, now scarred, eyes that held sadness as well as insanity, short ruffled hair, the color of charcoal, a maniacal smile played on his lips as he walked towards the fallen man, "ah welcome Colonel Richards, its an honor really", the colonel began to get up and walk towards the dark haired man 'honor is a wish granted to those most worthy of it, to accept honor from you is as worthless as dirt" spat the colonel, the man did not reply but just laughed, like they were two friends sharing an old joke, "ahhhh, I really hope that America will miss their Defense Minister", a gun was drawn, a plain silver revolver with a black leather grip, there was a loud bang, followed by stunned silence, a casing had hit the ground, and the colonel twitched no more.
