 POV: Stiles

Stiles felt like the ride in the elevator was going to be quick but after the interaction in the lobby, it felt like it took years. When the doors dinged, he snapped himself into the right mindset as quickly as he could. He couldn't afford to get lost in his thoughts right now. He was about to meet his potential alpha and that made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

With a deep breath, he lowly stepped out of the elevator and looked around for a sign of where to go next. Almost immediately, he was greeted by a gorgeous blonde woman, with big light brown eyes, and a curvy figure. He was relieved to learn that she was an omega like him. If Stiles was into girls, he would've been fawning over her but since his plan for him and Lydia didn't work out, he realized that he was more into guys anyways.

The blonde woman smiled at him as she spoke in a soft sweet and sure tone. "Hello, Omega Stilinski. My name is Erica."

Stiles nodded and thought to himself it was nice that at least one person told him their name. He had wondered if everyone here would be like the gorgeous—still nameless—angry man at the front desk. He cleared his throat and smiled. "Hello. I'm Stiles. Nice to meet you, Ms. Erica."

She quirked an eyebrow at him and then shrugged before turning on her heel. "This way, Omega Stilinski."

Stiles followed her but he was slightly miffed that everyone was calling him Omega Stilinski and not by his first name. He wondered if that was procedure or if they just did that to keep things completely professional or—Stiles decided not to focus on that, for now at least.

Erica led him to an office and gestured to the seat by the wall. "Go ahead and sit right there for me. I'll be with you in just a moment."

Stiles nodded again and took a seat in the aforementioned chair. He tried to sit still after Erica left but it was near impossible to do so. His mind was buzzing like crazy. He wondered what the alpha looked like and if the alpha would like what he looked like. He then thought about how the gorgeous angry man had made his heart skip a beat but then at the same time crushed him. His knee began to nervously bounce and then he began worrying his lip between his teeth.

He wasn't sure how much time went by before Erica returned and took a seat at the desk after handing Stiles a bottle of water. "Well, the alpha candidate should be arriving soon. When he does, they'll buzz him up. Until then, do you have any questions for me, Omega Stilinski?"

Stiles took a drink of the water and breathed out before asking, "Why am I so nervous and what happens after I meet him? Also, why is no one calling me by my name?"

Erica gave him an empathetic smile. "Well, nerves are completely normal and from what I saw in your application this means a great deal to you. As far as what happens after you meet him, each alpha is a bit different, but essentially, they all follow the same protocol and etiquette. First, he'll take you out to eat and then for the next week you'll live with him.

"In regard to why no one has used your name, we try to keep things as professional as possible. It is our belief that the first person to use your name should be the alpha candidate. Often it tells us a lot about you as well as the alpha. We can tell a lot simply based on your response to him using your name."

Stiles's eyes went wide, making them look more doe like than ever. "A w-week? Oh gosh. I-I didn't pack anything."

Erica smiled and shook her head. "You're misunderstanding me, Omega Stilinski. You'll live there but most likely, he'll want you to wear his clothes and he probably even has some picked out since we sent him measurements based on what you put on your application."
