N. 1: Depersonalization/ Derealization Disorder (DP/DR Disorder)
Depersonalization-derealization disorder occurs when you persistently or repeatedly have the feeling that you're observing yourself from outside your body or you have a sense that things around you aren't real, or both.

Staring spells / Absent Seizures
Absence seizures cause lapses in awareness, sometimes with staring. They are a type of generalized onset seizures, meaning they begin in both sides of the brain at the same time. An older term is petit mal seizures. They begin and end abruptly, lasting only a few seconds to a minute or 2.
While he has those he has bad habits that are addictive... including SH... he doesn't do it for a bad reason he feel as if when he has episodes he needs a painful way to awaken him.. to bring him back I should say..
All the traumatic event that have been made in his life made him hate the world... and he wouldn't mind being dead at all.. he prefers being gone than alive in this horrible world...
