"Vanessa!"
Called out the girls father, while she ran to the door, excitement filling the air.

"Yes, father?" She said, turning back to meet her father's eyes.
"Be careful, you know how rocky and dangerous it is out there.

"Yes, I know! Bye!"
Vanessa left, running up to the field, determined to meet the horses and other wonderful animals who resided there.

The gracious wind blew while she ran, her skin accepting the cold breeze the air had to offer, she felt happier than ever before.

Vanessa's mother, Carolina, died when she was five years old, she lived with her father, and loves the outside world.

At school, she didn't have many friends - none actually.
But she didn't
care. wildlife were her friends.

The hill stopped, she stood with her arms stretched out, like a star, her short hair resting still, eyes closed, taking in the scent of the wonderful, fresh air.

Vanessa was considered "lucky", by her family when it was about beauty.
Her short, brown and gold hair went down nearly to the end of her neck, her lips a rose pink shade.
Her green eyes sometimes shone or twinkled in the sun, her skin was olive, like her mother's.

A boy, who looked maybe an inch taller than her stood next to her.

Vanessa felt herself going nervous and sweaty, why though? She had never felt this way about anyone before.

She felt dizzy, would she faint? Fall off?

"Hi." He said, simply.
"Er, hi.." Vanessa felt herself turning a bright shade of red.

"What's your name?"
"Vanessa, what's yours?"
"Lucas, want to be friends?"
She felt herself getting even more sweaty and nervous.
"Sure." She said, smiling.

Oh, his soft voice, she could hear it all day without getting bored, and those ocean blue eyes, brung her happiness deep down.
