𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹, Who in this world came up with the concept of chemistry?

God must have blessed that person with special powers before descending them to earth. Otherwise, no way any normal person could be able to even think about this brain-crushing subject.

I ruffled my hair aggressively and stared deadpanned at the wordings in the book. I've been studying since morning yet I feel like I am zero prepared for the practicals.

We have done the testing of salts in the laboratory so many times but I'm scared..what If I can't find the right salt assigned to me? What If I did the procedure wrong? What If I forget everything suddenly?

Argh!!!

"Aadhya Akka! (elder sister)" my door was wide opened and there stood that little devil in all her glory.

Reena, my dad's best friend--Rahul uncle's daughter.

Oh no!! Time to save my Richard.

"Richard is so hot Akka" I knew it! I should take some steps to protect him from her. "Reena? You are meeting me after three months and the first thing you talk to me is about Richard?" I shook my head and glanced annoyingly at the book that lay on the mattress before me.

My learning mood is gone.

I don't even want to look at this book.
Frustrated, I shut the book close and glared at Reena. All because of her! Well not exactly her... it's just I don't want to study in the first place and when she barged in, I got a reason to avoid it entirely.

"Look at you, you've become such a nerd" she commented locking the door behind her and reclining down on my bed.

"Yeah, of course, I'm such a nerd that I failed all the exams" she chuckled, listening to my words. She is just studying eleventh, but her attitude is..No don't even get me started.

But still, I love her though.

"Failed?" I nodded my head with a pout and she laughed at my face. Then she abruptly quit snickering and gave me a naughty look.

"And how are things going on between you and him?" I frowned at her question. Is she mentioning Richard or what? But no, it can't be. Because she doesn't know anything that's happening between us."Who?" I urged her to converse further.

"Hari!" Who- what the fuck. I forgot about him wholly after seeing Richard. He is my senior in college and also Reena's cousin. Well, I found him attractive but no--not to the range of having a crush and all.

I'll be honest here, I was just checking him out one time at a family function, and this girl Reena had caught me red-handed. From that day itself, she never misses a chance to tease me.

And worse is that she had fed the fake information of me having a big crush on him.

But I don't.

I used to hide as much as I could whenever I see him walk around our class or at any place in the college.

Last week, I heard that he was inquiring about me to my friends and it was like a bomb dropped on my head. Why would he do that?

I mean he was querying about my character and all to them when I wasn't in the class. It didn't give me a good impression of him but rather made me so uncomfortable.

"Duh! Where are you Akka?" I came back from my thoughts and stared blankly at Reena's beaming face.

"What about him?" I asked coldly while she chuckled and pointed her finger to my forehead. "Hari asked for your number, he likes you!" She grinned.

"Did you give him my number?" I asked her in shock. I swear, I'll murder her If she did so. "No, I need your permission, right? well, may I give him??" I scowled at her.

"Don't you dare" I warned standing up from the bed, suddenly feeling too uneasy cause of this Hari's discussion.

"But why ?" She asked and I shrugged finding no right words to explain to her. I don't like him. "Ah well, it's your choice anyway. So I'll try to get Richard by my side" my eyes almost popped out as I stared at her in fury.

"Oh my, why are you looking at me like that?" She seemed quite scared due to my facial expression. "Richard is mine" I stated as a matter of fact.

"What? Are you both dating!?" Now her eyes were dilated whereas mine went back to normal. "Yes, we are" I muttered and gave her a small smile before speaking again. "So don't even think about bothering him" I smirked.

Contrary to my thoughts of her grimacing, the same smirk played on her lips too. Why?

"I have your brother so, I don't mind" I wanted to laugh at her face and tell her that he's also already taken..well not precisely but I know he's into that girl named Maha.

"Oh sure, you have got my brother" I spoke like providing her some motivation, yet knowing very well that she's gonna get roasted by him.

The day went off so hastily, and I didn't even open my book until late at night, 11 pm.

Rahul uncle and his son, Dhruv anna (elder brother) also came for celebrating my birthday which is approaching soon. Aunty is gone on a business trip so she couldn't arrive here.

We were all just chatting around and playing games which made my brain ignore about the practical exam.

I don't know what's gonna be my situation tomorrow.
